Why do you feel that?
i dont think Kinlaw makes it to 17.
i like Delpit but with the Clinton-Dix signing...i dont think the pick is a S.
i dont think those 3 WRs make it to 17.
so process of elimination is....CJ Henderson...the only CB not named Okudah worth taking at 17...or a DE...Chaisson,Epensa or Matos.

What good is a soft playing CB(henderson) without pressure that comes from the DL? DL is far more important than DB in todays game. This is why i never understood the Claiborne, Carr, Byron pickups because none of them showed the physical tackling or physical style of coverage that could cover for Dallas lack of passrush. Henderson fits into that kind of category whereas he would be picked apart because he plays so soft with a mediocre passrush. I can understand if a guy like Griffen is signed, but then id still want a WR over CB. Trade up for a guy like Ruggs. Now if they sign a guy like Griffen and and cant trade up for Ruggs then is Hendersons BPA then yes. But for me i think DL and WR are bigger needs and more important posistions

That's a close rating between 10 guys...Cowboys have to like a couple. A good CB will be there in the 2nd.

i was a fan of the Taco pick at the time.
i never saw him make the kind of impact plays in a game that Chaisson did.
Chaisson is a better prospect in my opinion.
Right but as a 1st round pick u need starters not projects ..hos lack of production at the college level scares me..NFL is a huge step up in talent

13 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks this season in the SEC isn’t exactly zero production.
3 years 9 sacks ..that's not impressive..6 sacks in a season isnt impressive..hes a project..read ANY profile on him...weakness -production...already a torn acl...and lack of college production

I wouldnt hate Chaisson at 17 but my preference is Ruggs, even if they have to trade up a little to get him. Cooper, Gallup and Ruggs would be monsters and add in Elliot with this OL. How do you defend that?
You play ball control against our crappy defense, win TOP and keep our monster offense on the sidelines.

Chaisson is 20 years old. You gonna dock him because he couldn’t produce in the SEC as a teenager?

I agree he’s a project but again his production this year was okay considering the opposition, and he’s an ascending player that improved throughout the year. If he was 23 I’d agree with you.

You cant teach what he was born with. That size and speed is unique. The rest can be coached.

Trade back and grab Henderson if we're determined to draft a CB in the 1st.

I'd still prefer Kinlaw but there's no way I see him falling to 17.

U dont draft a #1 pick as a project..they need to be starters on this team...his production was 0 in college
