Hey, I'm not saying LB specifically is a priority right now, but I will say that if a player rated in the 18-22 range is there at 51, you have to take him.

Otherwise you're completely drafting for need which is widely understood as no bueno.

I see what you mean to a point....and if a similar situation came up where that player was an interior OL, or a RB....they would be buried, but a first round LB at 51 would be a score for this team right now.

I'm starting to be concerned that BPA at 17 is an OT.

That may happen, and I think that's when the team abandons the board and claims they didnt.

We very much need ALL of those OTs to go before 17 and I'm beginning to think they may not.

Please, give me the 2nd best OLB in the draft at 51.

If we get him at 51 we should all be back flipping.

I seen him go from anywhere after pick 20 and only once or twice fell to 50ish. Since I was shocked he was there I took him. Players rise and fall all the time but I highly doubt he is there in the second. The other time he was there in the second I skipped over him to try and be more realistic if he wasn't there.

He wasn't the first LB drafted in any of the draft's I did.

I just commented that the only one of all those selections that didnt seem likely to happen was that one, based on rankings and mocks I've seen.

The others are all about in line, yet all different.

I think he has a better chance of being GONE by 17 than THERE at 51.

I'm not preaching to you, I just got called out for commending the pick. We don't need a LB. Yeah we do.

Only thing this team cant use right now is a RB with a high pick. All else is in play.

I agree with you and that's why I took him at 51. I really don't think he will even make the second round unless some character issue or medical we don't know. I would have taken a different position but just wanted to see since he was there in that particular scenario.

I also think we need LB as well and it's possible one if the top LB is in play at 17. Maybe I should have done one with LB as first pick....
