I read this morning, that they have discussed Daniel Kilgore who started 13 games for Miami last year

Jesus no more picks. You already spent a 2nd and 3rd rounder recently on interior line and your going to be spending a 1st round in 2021 to groom a LT. Not only that you have Looney signed whose good enough to start as well

While I don’t want a LT in the first round, you do realize that the OL is a quarter of the starting players on the team, right? Logically, you should be spending either a 2nd or 3rd round pick on the OL more often than not.

Ok i know Loony is going to get 1st crack at it, but if we remember he still had his problems the year Fred was out. so can Williams or The McGovener take over? I know Connor Williams did some practice at Senior bowl at Center.
Looney most likely...

Looney in 2018 was better than Travis 2019

I really dont see a reason why Joe Looney wouldn’t be the starter

Looney or McGovern. They will be fine
I suspect looney
Played fairly solid when Fred was out
McGovern hasn’t play a single nfl snap
I think he’s a good prospect but I think many are over exaggerating what a guy basically going into his rookie season is gonna do
Center is a hard spot
Guard is much easier

Connor Williams looks like a center and that #52 reminds me of the days good ole Al Johnson used to man the position.

It's probably a good bet that there'll be some stiff competition for the center position.

Whatever is in the cards to happen, the cream always rises to the top. It may again.

For the money Dak is demanding, I'd make him snap the ball to himself!

Best five.

LT - Tyron Smith
LG - Connor Williams
C - Connor McGovern
RG - Zack Martin
RT - La’el Collins

O-line gonna be just fine.
My thoughts exactly. I live in PA so I see Penn State games just by being alive and you guys are going to love this McGovern kid. He won't back down from anybody and you guys are going to love him as our center anchoring this offensive line for the next 8 years.

It's clear to me, camp battle between Lonney/McGovern, loser becomes the game day backup. Wouldn't mind if the team brings back Leary, gives them better depth.

Can't really replace him. :starspin: You can only hope to put someone where he used to be.
Connor McGovern? Another Wisconsin guy from the draft, C Tyler Biadasz.

Current Cowboys 3-deep Oline depth chart

LT - Tyron Smith(1st round), Mitch Hyatt (CFA), Brandon Knight (CFA)
LG - Conner Williams (2nd round), Conner McGovern (3rd round), Adam Redmond (CFA)
C - Joe Looney (4th round), Adam Redmond (CFA), Conner McGovern (3rd round)
RG - Zack Martin (1st round), Conner McGovern (3rd round), Adam Redmond (CFA)
RT - La'el Collins (CFA), Brandon Knight (CFA), Mitch Hyatt (CFA)

Other than Tyron Smith and Mitch Hyatt, all other Olinemen on the roster can play multiple positions

Tackle Only - Smith, Hyatt
Guard/Tackle - Collins, Williams, Knight, Martin
Center/Guard - Looney, McGovern, Redmond

The Cowboys will certainly add to this group of 9 players during training camp, but it is a pretty solid group of 9 players on the roster now, even with Frederick retiring.

Cowboys OL was terrible in 2018 with Loony replacing T-Fred at Center.

They allowed 56 sacks, 2nd worst in the NFL.
Looney did well. But he was not required to make the line calls I think Zack was.
