Cam Newton to Patriots would be Belichick's statement "Bradyless Superbowl"
If Beli was really into winning this year, I believe he would have made a typical Patriots genius move in trading for Brissett before IND dumped Hoyer. At this point, I don't see him doing anything but focusing on a rebuild. It would have definitely been entertaining to see Cam in NE though lol.

Jameis is a bit of a bonehead but I'd really like to see him in a spot where he had a competent line and a decent rb and see what he does being older and hopefully more mature. He has the talent, just needs to make better decisions. I think his PTSD has a lot to do with those bad/rushed throws/INTs.

Sorry, but I know folks who know Jameis on a personal level. He, they say, is the essence of immaturity. The kid who just doesn't know when to stop playing. I wouldn't be surprised that you start hearing from the Bucs locker room how immature and silly Jameis is.

Bruce Arians appeared to be a good fit for James but it's amazing how things can change. Dak better watch closely because whilst he holds all the leverage today sooner or later tide will turn

I see your point but... I don't see MM being that lovable, accepting kind of coach to any immaturity if true. Arians actually is that guy and he basically threw Jameis under the bus after the year. I don't see Jameis getting touched until after the draft or an injury unfortunately for him and I'd still see him as a backup.

Cam > Cooper Rush ;)

I just noticed, but if it's 2 mill in dead money to release Cam, what took CAR so long to have all this drag out for this amount? Once they found there were no takers, they should have just released him instead of doing the bogus report about allowing him to look for a trade. Smh

very true.
Jameis like all other QBs will play plenty snaps in years to come...the QB position is such a premium...
I've heard backup Steelers or Ravens.

Cam is a shell of his former self. To many big hits, to many injuries, and a headcase. I don't care what anyone says but a man who dresses the way he does has something wrong with him
Was never a fan of his from day one
No thanks

Needs to just admit he is playing for both teams already.

He's 30 years old, former MVP, former all-pro, former NFC champ. Yeah, I would take Cam over Dak any day of the week.

Less accurate and throws more picks, despite throwing shorter passes, and hasn't done any of those things - or even make a Pro Bowl - since Dak has been in the league.

Now he's 30 and coming off injury, so forget all the running he used to do, but you'd take him any day of the week. Thank God you're not in position to make that decision. :muttley:

I feel like people often use the term alpha when narcissistic is the more appropriate term. Emmitt Smith was an alpha. Cam Newton is a narcissist.
