He’s the only qb I ever seen that pouts like a baby week in and week out. Talk about fame getting into his head and it seems he thinks he’s better than everyone else. He should be running the Lamar Jackson offense because he can’t throw a lick but I think he’s too premondonna and not tough enough to do it. He’s 6’5 255 and if he just gets a crease and falls over he gets 5 yards. I question his heart and work ethic too. Talented kid though but you have to know your strengths and weaknesses.

Agree. I'm not defending him by any means, but he took a beating and there were a handful of hits he took that should have been penalized. I honestly think his diva attitude may have helped the refs look the other way.

OK, that I will agree with. Because of his size, he took hits that would have generally been flags for other QBs. That's definitely true. I don't buy into the attitude thing thou. I saw him take hits like that before he lost his mind. I just think he is such a big QB, such a physical specimen that I think he took hits that other QBs would have gotten flags for and he didn't get the call. That's definitely true IMO.

But that just compounds the root problem. He's a big target. He's fast and he's hard to bring down but he's not the biggest dude out there and when he gets hit, he may be a load but 11 guys are targeting him when he breaks the pocket. It's just simply physics is all.

i'm sure carolina would have taken a goldfish in a water filled baggie for him and there were 0 takers.

he likely won't get a starting job unless there's an injury. then i can see him as one of the first off the bench.

Definitely gonna be tough for him. I agree Ice.

It’s only a qb stay when it defines Dak, Cam and Kapernick it seems.

Come on Rocy, that's not true and you know it. Same things have been said for years about different QBs. I think you are tracking down the wrong path on this one Brother.

That's the thing nobody is talking about with him and it's really the reason I would not want him. He seriously had all the talent in the world. Could not ask for more but he didn't put in the work. I mean, we've all played with guys who were just a little better. It's really rare that you play with a guy who is also just that much better but is also willing to work harder then you. Usually, it's one or the other. It's not both and for Cam, that held true IMO. He could have been a lot better. If he had put the work in, learned how to be a better passer, he could have been on of the all time guys in the history of the game. He has that kind of talent.

He won’t take a job as a backup, he’d rather sit out a year. If Dak refuses to attend off-season activities (if there indeed are offseason activities) then I might have a look. Either way, we’ve got to grab a QB in this draft.

Most people with prior NFL experience have said when Prescott first said something about what he would do if tagged that the one position in the NFL that won't work to sit out a year for the player is the QB position. Now Newton who's had two consecutive seasons losing games played because of injury probably also knows that so if the choice is signing as a backup or sitting out, at 31 years old next month, he take the backup job. The question is just what team wants a backup QB who's biggest part of his game is running the ball who has accuracy problems and again has been injured due to his running? I give him credit because he lasted longer than RGIII.

OK, you guys have a good evening. Wife is making Taco's tonight, that means I gotta go check on the beans, add some water maybe. Gotta get the ground beef out and the ingredients for the Fideo. Might have to go make a quick run to the store and pick up some Corn Tortillas to make the shells. Lastly, will need to change into my Taco eating pants. I plan on eating a dozen or so!

Everybody, have a great evening.

I'm not going down any path. Yeah they all seem to have one thing in common but I genuinely was bringing up 2 people who I hear that about. ESPECIALLY Dak. No matter how good or bad he plays.....his bad play is his fault....his good play is because he has a team around him. I can't spell that out any clearer than that.

I just love swinging the double edge sword during these conversations. Watch and observe how Cam's accuracy will be in question because of his career completion % yet Dak "apologist" can't argue the opposite and say Dak is very accurate because of his career completion %...
