A few nice signings today, but I'd like to see that train keep rolling and the momentum continue.

While I would love to add Everson Griffen first and foremost, he may be a big ticket item out of our price range (but I will hold out hope).

But next on my list would be WR Taylor Gabriel.

Speed guy that is versatile and can line up outside and in the slot. Released by the Bears so signing him would not impact comp pick formula either. He would be my pick to replace Randall Cobb.

How about y'all? Who's next on your lists?

Devon Smith needs a shot to win the position, but Gabriel would be fine. I am not as worried about the slot as some of you.

Are there any players that can return punts? We don't have one on the roster right now, Unless they think injury prone Cedric Wilson is the answer. Or try Pollard again.

i think we'll get one (punt returner) in the draft on Day 3.
i'd like to have a speed guy that can be dual role of slot/punt returner such as Tyler Lockett and Mecole Hardman type that we can get in 5th round.

So glad this team is apparently not interested in bringing Tavon Austin back.
Pollard has no experience as a punt returner. (only 3 in entire college career)

i could go with Taylor gabriel too, .. but Stephen was able to get Randal Cobb for peanuts in a 1 year 5 million contract.

Not sure lightning can strike twice, as and we know how money ball cheap Stephen can to be.
the only two other vet slot guys i thought of are DeMarcus Robinson or Jermaine Kearse.

otherwise could there be a sleeper slot/returner in the late rounds of the draft we could look hard at ?

Mel Kiper seems to like the Sooners WR to us at 17 and I would not be mad at that pick.

Id love it, but I doubt he makes it there. I havent seen many mocks where he makes it past 15, a lot have him inside the top 10. Lamb may have been the best wr on the Sooners team as a freshman, very productive all 3 years of college...and even if he did make it to 17 would they still take a CB right now?

Say if Kinlaw and Henderson are gone but the Tide S is there along with Lamb. Who would the Jones boys take then?

They seem content with Lewis, Chido, and Brown to me.

Safety, DE and WR have to be addressed.
im rewatching the seasons '16-'19 on game pass...i have to admit...im too hard on Anthony Brown.
he's got some talent...excited to see what this staff can get from him.
same with Awuzie and Lewis.
with those 3...we might be ok back there.
but i'd still draft a good'n...maybe 2.

I want solid players in positions of need. No more washed up players that will be on the IR by week 3.

We dont need to spend money on a WR3 or 4.

Devin Smith deserves a shot and this is the deepest WR draft in history.

Answering on topic...

Ron Leary....cheap.

Smith-Leary-McG-Martin-Collins.

Williams, Looney and one other for depth.
