Is Minnesota any better with Cousins than they were with Keenum or Bridgewater? It seems like the Vikings have a revolving door and find themselves in the hunt. The Commanders made the right decision, while Minny made the poor choice.

Remember last season when Dak was LIGHTING it up and everyone was eating crow. Nearly everyone who trashed him the year prior was saying how wrong they were on him. And then as the season progressed and we started losing everyone went right back to bashing Dak. Despite the fact that THE ENTIRE NFL INCLUDING NFL FANS knew we had an extremely inept coaching staff.
Now we get to see him work with a real coaching staff in his fifth year, and he will have developed even more than he has already. Ungrateful fans, with no patience will never understand this, but it will be fun watching you guys eat more crow.
BTW, you could've had Dak for $30M if you would've acted sooner and then we could've used the franchise tag on Byron Jones. We'd be in much better position to draft BPA.
But here we are. We move slower than the rest of the league.

i agree with you on minn.
i thought keenum was good and didnt understand the moves at all.
but washington has gotten worse.
Dak is better than cousins and keenum in my view.
he's gotten better each year.

Yes, yes we sure have. His poor performances in games against the Seahawks in 2017....or the Eagles in 2019 were certainly reasons we lost in big games. Dak struggles to consistently put together good games outside of his rookie season (he was in an ideal situation)
Heck, he wasn't even really a game manager last year, he switched to a more aggressive approach and it may have made him worse.

Since Rodgers is getting older there is only one real super star quarterback, Mahomes. Dak is lumped into a group of 12. I seen him beat and out play both Wentz and Wilson. You can’t tell me each of those quarterbacks are much better, I don’t see it.

Because the Vikings are getting similar results they got with mediocre QBs with a QB they paid big money for and gave an extension to. Now not only is their cap taking a hit, they're not going to win a championship. They're already losing pieces and it will be tougher to replace.
And Cousins only got them to the playoffs once - let's stop pretending they let a great QB go. Commanders made the right choice.

Just about done with this joke franchise. A semi intelligent front office would have parlayed Dak into 3 first rounders when his value was highest. Now we get to watch a team crippled by a contract bigger than Aaron Rodgers deal. Let that sink in.
