good . i was worried about him actually making it back .. and i did not want him coming back !
he was one those i thought sucked vs run (along with Cauran Reid and the other DTs)
even in his spots as rotational. totally invisible in 2018 playoffs. i think he was considered a healthy scratch vs Rams playoff game and he didn't help
matters with his off field incident arrest . Good riddance !

Dallas Cowboys (2002)
After a year off, Coslet was hired by Cowboys head coach Dave Campo to serve as his offensive coordinator. Coslet's unit ranked near the bottom of the league in both points scored and total yards. Under Coslet, Emmitt Smith saw his streak of 1,000 yard seasons broken at eleven despite his setting of the NFL's all-time rushing yardage record. Smith also only managed five rushing touchdowns, two off his career low. Neither of his starting quarterbacks, Chad Hutchinson or Quincy Carter, were effective either. After a 5-11 finish, the third straight under Campo, Bill Parcells was hired as head coach and Coslet was not retained. He has not held a coaching position since.
Plenty of dubious distinctions in there. But, unlike Marinelli, Coslet only had one year to ruin the Cowboys offense. And never had the ability to sabotage personnel and the draft.

Marinelli was a name guy from 20 years ago.
His defenses have been copied but offenses have been able to dissect them since Tampa's SB.
Rob Ryan, Marinelli..
Just a Rogues Gallery of has been and wanna-bees.
Becuz Jerrah loves his offense..
they have always had the lionshare of the cap.
And the defense coach has always been retreads.
So we have always been trying to win with built in handicaps.
So as much as I want MM to succeed..
he himself is the definition of "a retread".
He even admits as much.
So while I want to believe the arrow is pointing up..
I have to see it first.
