Zeke is a bell cow, no matter what the haters say.

Everybody likes Zeke but having the highest-paid RB+QB+OL will eventually catch up to this football team. Zeke gets a lot of criticism because it comes with the paygrade

Not sure I agree he is a beast of a receiver out of the backfield, or that he is worth his contract. Zeke is very good, but backs do not last long in the NFL. My problem with him last year was that he kept taking himself out of the game when we were driving down the field resulting in nada or a field goal.

i didnt care for that either... removing himself from the game - and a few times when we were near red zone situations - that should have been a coaching move- and
i blame the previous coaching staff for allowing him to do so. One more reason why i was so glad to see both RB coach Gary Brown and Garett outta here.

the other coaching issues i had was the conditioning (imo) and usage of zeke as more of a cow bell pounder - and less of a breakaway throughbred which made him so dangerous as the No.4th overall and 2016 super star that took the league by storm his first two years.

He's always been quite a load to have to take on as a power runner- he's a feat to have to deal with in shortage and goal line situations,
It's The " splash" plays - the home run hitters that i am so desiring to get back. - what i really believe this offense still needs from him.

Show me the touchdowns. That’s right they match the turnover ratio. Who cares if you don’t miss games if you take yourself out of the game every other play. He’s too busy tripping over his own ego especially on the goal line

McFadden played with QBs that teams didn't respect when they got into the red zone.

The reality is that McFadden was far more effective than you think and the fact he was even as effective as he was showed how good the OL was. I mean he ran for 4.6 ypc, 1000 yards and with zero QB help.............. how is that not a testament to how good that OL was?
Not only did he have a crappy QB, Dez Bryant was either missing or hurt for most of the season so defenses didn't even have a legit #1 receiver to worry about.

McFadden ran for over 1,000 yards and had a 4.6 ypc total in 10 games started in 2015. Elliott's career ypc is 4.6.

People continually understate how effective McFadden was.

Oh and he did that with crap at QB.
He also gained most of those yards in the garbage time of games. The stats have been posted on this board before that supports this if you are willing to go back and find it.

I guarantee that Zeke effects the D each & every play that he is on the field. It can be 3rd & 12 and somebody(s) is still keying in on what Zeke does. They don't do that just because we like to run it a lot.

zeke is a show pony. Interesting they didn’t include the offensive line rankings as “one of these things is not like the other”. That cat would be nothing behind most NFL lines.

Well thank goodness, we could have been 8-8 without those defenses keying in on him.

Thank God we paid Zeke all that $ for him to never deliver when we need the running game the most. Best runningback since Emmitt, Barry and All Day.

Our opponents look at our strengths when they put together their game plan. The fact that we didn't isn't Zeke's fault.
Ok, and where has Zeke got us? Do you honestly think there are any games we would have lost last year without him?

He already failed as it relates to this post. Unless you didn’t realize he had an injury plagued year last year.

Yes know he was injured but per some on this board they still think he is better than Zeke and would prefer him. Listen after every team we played this past season there was a new thread about this person over Zeke.

Quick question, since Terrell Davis in 1999, how many league leading rushers have won the Super Bowl in the last 21 years? I'll give you a hint. The answer is less than 1.
