Kicking for New England is not the same as kicking for horrible teams like the Commanders were. What's your explanation for how super fantastic dyno-Forbath was cut six times?

Id imagine we'll probably get a punter in the draft or as a UDFA. Personally, I'm hoping for an Aussie. McBriar was excellent, and hopefully we'll find one just as good.

Fair enough -- averaged 90% over a 3 year period, sure. But "prior 3 years, he had hit 90%" read like he made 90% of his FGs 3 seasons in a row.

He no doubt had a strong run from 2016-18. Let's hope he can replicate that, because he's not going anywhere with that guaranteed salary.

It's a flip of the coin. I don't have any more trust in him hitting a game winning 50 yard FG than Forbath. Probably less.
