I would rather pay more for him should we be wrong and he takes us to a NFCCG or further..until then FT it is!!

I agree. I'm all up for holding up my hands if i'm wrong but they will be firmly in my pockets in January :thumbdown:

I have no idea why someone would think this was a good idea. You will not get a high first. Frankly I doubt you could get more than a middle of the road second. And that would be a real boon.

But what does that do to the team, the new head coach, the window of opportunity, the attitude of the players that have gone to battle with Dak?

This is the Madden mindset dreaming of signing a top flight rookie. What this mindset ignores is the time under center it will take for even the top flight rookie to get up to speed.

I am reminded daily on this site it is still the off season, and Heaven help me we still have four months, almost five, until training camp.

Any team trading for Dak would want to have an extension worked out before trading anything significantfor Dak. I think a team would be willing to trade a middle/late first for Dak even with the contract they would have to pay. Not much more than that, though.
