So, I've been looking at YouTube videos this afternoon, and I came across a video from JustBombProductions involving a player by the name of Derrick Tuszka. He's a DE from North Dakota State. As I was watching the video, I noticed that he looks bloody quick and powerful. He sort of reminds me of Jared Allen in a way. Small school product, but, as stated, he's quick and powerful.

Here's the video of him:

What's more, here's his nfl.com profile as a prospect: https://www.nfl.com/prospects/derrek-tuszka?id=32195455-5341-5291-bd94-f042de383126

His measurables according to the link are as follows: 6'4" 251 lbs, 31 3/8" arms, and 9 7/8" hands. Curiously, have a look at Jared Allen's measurables: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jared_Allen he's a few inches taller at 6'6", but he's also not much heavier than Tuszka at 255 lbs. Maybe I'm off base a bit on Tuszka, but he really does remind me of Jared Allen the more I look at him with how he plays. Just my take on him with what I'm looking at. What say you all? Good candidate? I think 3-4th round if we're lucky enough for him to fall to us. What say you all? Where should we take him?

Watched this a few days ago. I like this dude, very quick.
I dont know. I'm not trying to argue with you, but there's a Jalen Jelks video out there that'll get you just as excited....against Pac-10 competition.

Not saying I wouldnt like to have this dude, or that he cant be something....its just theres a lot of this, and then they get into an NFL camp and it becomes clear why he didnt play at a top school or wasnt considered a prospect.

That said, yep....it would be cool to nab someone like this in the late rounds and have them turn into something.

Yeah, I think if we get him with a 4th round pick, we will have a pick well spent. He looks ferocious.

It's cool. Jelks is a different type edge, he's more base end, while Tuszka is more RDE. Tuszka movement is way better and DAL needs speed rusher for the RDE. It seems most guys they have are LDE, which is interesting since DLaw is the man at that spot. Jelks, Jackson and even Armstrong are better suited for LDE.

I rather them draft a higher ranked edge. However, Tunzka has speed, strength and good hand usage on the edge, and those traits translate well. Quality traits is what stood out to me.

Exactly, and I think he will make a very good RDE.

There’s some truth to that. That said, Jelks was not nearly the athlete this kid is, nor did Jelks have noteworthy production in Oregon.

Hes got very good get off, good explosion and quickness but he will really struggle to get off blocks when those guys get their hands on him....worth a flier in round 6 or 7 though

I'd say maybe even 4-5. Either way, I'd like very much to see him with our uniform.
