A couple of games the offsides/neutral zone penalties were a problem, but he got 4 sacks playing part time in 9 games, so that ain't bad. Might be a worthwhile 1 year signing.

Now that the cupboard on the interior line is more stocked, and might be *very* stocked after the draft, Crawford feels like mostly a DE insurance policy at this point. So I'd take a better pass-rusher like Bennett to replace him as a rotational piece. Crawford's ceiling is about 4 sacks in a full season. Bennett gave us that much last year in basically half a year.

I completely agree but that POS was one of the few who actually seemed to give a damn last year as we were falling apart with the playoffs on the line. I wasn't a fan of the trade but found that to be rather ironic.

That said his neutral zone infractions were horrible.
He's a POS as a human

yes indeed, bring him back. He's better than Crawford and can play on the inside. Say whatever you want about him, the guy is still really good and is a vet that the others will listen to. Don't like him much as a person..but this aint choir... ..its Pro Football. You need these types of nasty players. SIGN HIM UP.

If you research Bennett outside of football, you will find that
he doesn't warrant cheering.

The Vegas incident alone is enough to loathe this man.

Im fully aware of his background, that doesn’t change the FACT that when he is making plays for your team you are screening like a cheerleader at a perp rally. That’s a fact, in the moment you could careless about Vegas.

So don’t mention it now in the off-season.

And the best way to tell Seattle he wants to play again..

is to announce this thru a Dallas writer?

He and Dez will be practising out at the Star all week I bet.
The facilities are off-limits to players. They are supposed to be staying home like the rest of the country.

This guy gets it..

To me Bennett can play both inside and out on the defensive line and I can pretty much say with certain, Bennett can "hold his own" in most matchups throughout this league and rarely do I see Bennett's opponent dominate him as a end result. Those offside penalties were annoying but he could have easily mailed it in once Dallas's season went up in flames but Bennett was out there playing his *** off trying to make plays, well atleast it appeared that way to me..

But if you pair a motivated Bennett with McCoy, Poe and Lawrence plus Gregory. We'll have some nice options to establish pressure inthe backfield.

1 or 2 yr with incentives and let see how it goes .
