Idk how old everyone here is but If you guys watch romo highlights you might be like holy **** I forgot how fun this guy was.

I don’t mean fun like it was a roller coaster like he was Inconsistent. I mean like this guy put his nuts out there on every play.

flippin...audibles until the last second, lol kill kill kill. High fiving refs. Moving the spot of the ball as a joke. I think I even saw him say hi to me from the stands once but I could be mistaken. He would duck dip dodge dive. He would fumble pick it up wipe the ball off spank your mother run home check on the oven and still make the big third down throw. This guy is what sports are about. My favorite all time athlete. He is better than the dallas cowboys

Post of the year. Already.

Come on...a few games Romo left us in tears, SURE! But he was one fun guy to watch. And undrafted? Could be one of the biggest over-achievers ever in sports. And here we are arguing that "he just wasn't that good". Mind-boggling.

He was good, just not as amazing as some suggest. You would think fans would be happy we found a QB.

Few of them in here.

Proves Dak is better by posting Cooper's highlights? LOL.

Look...I get it...Dak had to get him the ball.....but Amari put a LOT of extra yards on many of those. And...the next three games?
4/32
5/20
5/31
Didn't exactly build a "go to" after that game. An exception, rather than the rule. Not convincing.

Here's a silly example of pointing out what ALL receivers are supposed to do.

What do you mean "not as good as some suggest". Not sure to whom/whoms you are referring.

So...we're gonna say Romo is "not as good as some say". Wouldn't it be fair to say the same thing about Dak?

Seems like we're running in circles here. But...hey...."safer at home!" Right? :D

NO he wasn't. Also, the best ability is availability.

Romo asking for an open competition in the middle of a successful run like that, just shows how selfish and inconsiderate of the team he was. Glad that loser is gone.
Still amazed at the Dak army's hatred of Romo.

You're spot on about best ability. Availabilty is definitely Dak's best ability. lol. You show me a player who doesn't want to compete and I'll show you a loser. You"ve obviously never played a competitive sport.

You continue on, using Romo hate as a crutch to prop up Dak's average ability. Romo's been gone for going on half a decade.

All the excuses have left the building. players, coordinators, coaches and schemes taylored to Dak. Who will be this years scapegoat?

Face it, Dak is the Andy Dalton of QBs.

We have to remember, they strongly considered drafting Wentz. The only reason they didn't, Jerry and Romo were saying had at least 2-3 years left and they knew you can't draft a QB replacement that high and not have your current QB feel pressured. Which led them to drafting/considering QB later. So when Romo got ( again) and Dak lit it up, I can see how/why they got excited.
Pretty sure it was more Zeke who "lit" up. Teams were stacking the line and couldn't stop Zeke.

What are you talking about? You guys have got to stop jumping into discussions that don’t pertain to you. Who was I saying Dak was better than? Damn......

You are demanding "evidence" for something unprovable. Then claiming victory?

It's all just opinion and conjecture. But...I do point as "evidence"...Romo last drive of his career. He walked the team down for a touchdown like he was playing tiddlywinks...beast mode. It's as close to any kind of "evidence" that could possibly be presented.

"But he would have been re-injured anyway" you say. Right? My "evidence" here is that Dak gave Romo the longest time to heal he's ever had. Romo typically came back in WAY too soon...or more often just played through it. This time? That was a very healthy and strong Romo. And he would have had the expertise of Zeke blocking for him that I don't think he ever had before. I think Romo's experience and health would have taken that team pretty far.

End of the day, this is a "what if" question...that is really legit. We can discuss and debate it but we'll have to accept the opposing opinions...without insults. Both sides are very legitimate. Romo showed us what he could have done with his team, no doubt about it. But of course nothing is ever guaranteed....but that's what you are unfairly demanding.
He didn’t walk up the field the Eagles gave him that pity touchdown. It was nothing impressive about.

Here’s a simple question and this is real talk.

you are a defensive coordinator, do you want to go up against tony eldarado romo? Or do you want to go against dakson Jeremiah Prescott?

One can make you look silly. One will take what you give him and not a penny more.

Dak sets his cruise control to 56 and puts on Dave Mathews band.

tony romo pops the convertible open, hits the nos, and puts his hand on your thigh

Stat ho, huh?

Just tossing out a couple simple stats doesn't tell the real story. There's no doubt, it was a fine running game. But you better bet your corn nuts there was always a passing threat to go along with it.
That led to watch exactly? A bunch of 2nd place awards and participation trophies? Great.

One can also throw a silly turnover to end your game.

If you want to compare the 2 in their 1st 4 seasons and your conclusion was Romo was the better QB I would respect your opinion.

But comparing an entire career, cut and pasting things is hard to buy in to.
