I was actually curious about him a few months ago so I looked him up to see what happened to him. Found an interview where he said he was too eccentric and was asked to tone it down and wouldn’t. Seemed like a good dude, just has a lot of personality. I’ve always been a fan.

Two problems with that.

First, good college punters fail all the time in the NFL. That doesn't mean there's no reason to try, just that there's no guarantee of success.

Second, other teams are drafting, too, so that good college punter that you want could be gone before Dallas pulls the trigger.

I prefer as much competition as possible, so I'd have no problem bringing in King, keeping Jones and signing a UDFA (or even spending a late-round pick on one if the draft falls right). Whatever it takes to make our punting better than it has been the last couple of years.

I’m a fan of him on the field. He has a boomstick, and the dancing after big punts is great.

We could all use some acting lessons.

Maybe this health problem is a blessing in disguise.

It's shutting up Jerrah so he does not have to lay down a false paper trail about our draft and what we are going to be doing.

That maybe more important than we know.

The guy is talented but not sure his distraction is worth the additional talent.
