Boom what ? I've yet to see 5 QBs better than Romo in 2014 ("Romo was never a top 5 qb" remember ?). Where's the list ? (still waiting :rolleyes:)

Funny that now your spinning the narrative as he was carried by an elite running attack yet by your own admission "Murray wasn't a top 5 RB that year"
So when Romo is carried by a top o line and top running back it’s all Romo but when Dak did it in 2016 it’s all everyone else not named Dak? Ok makes sense. Glad to see the objectivity on this board knows no bounds.

Funny, actually more like pathetic that you're clinging to 2014,.
This conversation your not in so no it's not actually pathetic if you actually understood the context

The original context was him basically saying Romo didn't have a leg to stand on in regards to getting his job back because he was never a top 5 QB and I said that's kinda funny to say considering the last season he had started leading up to all of this going down he was a top 5 QB.......

Pathetic ? No that's called a reasonable response. If you want to spin it as "pathetic" then that's your problem not mine
He got carried by a top 6 running back for sure..
Gotta give you credit, this actual made me laugh (lol)

Yeah I don't understand the Dak hate. 2016 was a great year for both him and the franchise

I understand things come slow for you but you quoted my post and I responded. If you can't handle another point of view, duck out and don't respond.

Your trying to spin a reasonable statement (Romo being top 5 QB in his last season leading up to this) as me "hoisting up your hero" (???) and "cherry picking season" (how is the season leading up to this drama cherry picking ? I'm not picking some random as season from a decade ago)

There's difference between differing points of view and being a gigantic tool for no reason

Next you'll say he's a HOFer.

i can't believe we still have 21 page arguments about this 4 years later.

Romo was at a place where the last two big shots that he took put him out of the game for extended periods of time. His back was crumbling. It was simply time, and that's all. No, Dak wasn't a better QB, Dak didn't beat him out, there was no great conspiracy against Romo, any of that garbage. It was simply time for Romo to retire.

Wow dude...you act like you are the final authority of everything.
You didn't even bother to read all the comments here. Are you going to deny that Romo always came in too soon...not fully healed? You KNOW that is not true. Any QB that played with shoulder injury .....is proof you would be WRONG.

Dak did allow Tony to FINALLY fully heal during a season. His last drive....you'll claim defense wasn't playing, anyone could do that. But that was laser efficiency. NO WAY...just any QB could bop in and drive the team down for an easy TD. No ....way.

Everyone wonder why we drafted Zeke. He was the final piece of the romo puzzle. Elite tough RB pass catch AND block. The team was SO stacked you could put a low round drfat pick rookie in and win.

What could we have done with a healthy veteran...built FOR the healthy veteran?

Look...you HAD me at your first sentence. What ARE we doing here four years later. You should have quit there. Then you go on to show us EXACTLY why. People making up bull sheet in their heads is why.

Man whatever. There’s no tough guy talk. All I told you to do was mind your business because you jumped into a conversation that you are confused about. How is that tough guy talk?

I don’t even know what you are talking about this “gotcha” stuff.

I will come in where and when I want...tough guy. I respond to what people say.....OH! I'm supposed to know each and every single thing you've ever posted ever? Ridiculous. If you can;t make sense in one post......then I am most certainly not interested in researching all your other ones.

Didn’t ask you to research all my posts. I asked you to know what you’re talking about. You were confused. How are you mad at me because you are confused?

You’re accusing someone of not reading all the comments? The irony......

I don’t even waste the time or research on Romo stand. I learned long ago it was pointless.

Not mad at all...What is it I do not know what I am talking about?

(here's where you say "not gonna deal with it"...not say exactly what it is you mean.)

I don't mean a person has to read and know each and everyone person's background and MO. There are MANY people that have spoken for Tony's health...and the way the team was built for Tony. Seemed to be ignored by him.

Like I said...all you want to do is argue....find the scab and pick it to continuous bleeding. Have at it.

You posted this crap.....

Proves Dak is better by posting Cooper's highlights? LOL.

Look...I get it...Dak had to get him the ball.....but Amari put a LOT of extra yards on many of those. And...the next three games?
4/32
5/20
5/31
Didn't exactly build a "go to" after that game. An exception, rather than the rule. Not convincing.
when no one even argued Dak was better than Romo. That was not the point of that clip but like I said you are confused.

The 2016 roster was so stacked. I completely agree.

No you are confused. You were asked to post Dak's highlights and you posted Amari's....and a fluke game at that. Which I proved by posting his rec/yards the next three games (critical end of year games) . LOL>

#notconfused at all.
