Lol I don’t think he means those who have reasonable criticisms while seeing some positives here and there. I believe he’s referring to those who refuse to acknowledge any possibility of success. Those who only have negative feelings and hold every ounce of 25 years to every little move.

If you look solely at the circumstances approaching the 2020 season, this team has a pretty good chance to make some noise. Much more than in previous years from coaching alone.

Without any optimism, how can you really be a fan? Seems like fans of something have some positive regard for the thing they claim fandom of. Not blind faith, but some shred of optimism.

Right, if something out of my control made me as miserable as some I would simply stop watching. But that's just me.

I've been dating the same female for 25 years. We've never made love.

Now do yall understand the angst. Love turns to anger when things aren't going right. And angry people use angry words. Some fans hate that we aren't in contention every year and they come here to vent.

9) Yes we have some issues on the OLine to straighten out but I believe that MM won't let us go into the season w/o that being addressed.

In closing I'm gonna go out on a limb here and not project a SB win but I believe we will make the playoffs and contend for the NFCC.

Go ahead and trash away!

This is a forum to argue about the Cowboys as most people are here to convince you their opinion is the only correct one and you’re an idiot if you don’t agree. Do yourselves a favor and save yourself from the toxicity.

I’m positive, positive about a lot of things. Positive we’re not winning a Super Bowl next year. Positive we over paid a for a punk diva RB. Positive we lost two of our best defenders. Positive Jerry will continue to fool the masses with his little splash moves and I’m positive we may or may not make the playoffs.

Results being me joy, the Cowboys have fallen well short of that for over my life.

Come find me in a live game thread after we go down by a TD in the 1st quarter and half these self proclaimed “positive” fans who talk about how much joy they get from watching the Cowboys suffer from the same mediocrity every year are about ready to jump off a cliff while I’m laughing because I set my expectations much lower.

the team's management has not won the trust of the fans in player and coaches selection . Cowboys fans are some of the most loyal fans. Look at the ratings and team gear sales which dwarfs many teams with a better record. 25 years and counting . Grotesquely managed drafts, QB selections , overpayments , overrated players , meddling with coaching decisions etc etc.

On your point and reason for optimism , i agree with many of them but not the QB situation nor the OL situation . A mediocre QB who will be paid 35Mil + is a collosal worry .

Let me tell you first of all I’ve been a cowboy fan Before Mini here were even born. That doesn’t mean I can’t critique a player or coach or the team. I support the franchise. That doesn’t mean I appreciate every team we put on the field. Go Cowboys

Exactly.......you know what it takes to win a championship, will MM make a difference? We thought parcells would....it didnt....and we know why...hell if we didnt critique, how can you be a diehard fan for all those years?
