FRISCO - Gotta tell ya, the last time we played "Dallas Cowboys Murder Mystery,'' it was about as complex as "Encyclopedia Brown.'' (Or, "Nancy Drew,'' if she was your thing. There simply had to be a logical financial reason for Dallas to have signed both kickers Kai Forbath and Greg Zuerlein - and indeed, there is. And contrary to conventional wisdom, once you see the clues ... you see that the Zuerlein signing did not in any way kill Forbath's chances of making the team in 2020. (Read here.)

Poor baby girl Bri has a looooooooong way to go to getting more fluid with her on-air work.
I'm hoping she gets to swimming quickly, because sharks are always in the water.

Damn... now I feel crappy over saying Bri was a "poor baby girl".
I'm such a heel. A cad. I take everything back.

Not the on-air criticism though. She gots work to do.

Randy Gregory isn’t reinstated yet, as soon as that happens I expect Tyrone Crawford will be asked to take a ~50% pay cut or he’ll be cut.

I expect they hold off on renegotiating Crawford until August. Limits his options, and lets us see what we have in others *and* Crawford, who couldn't play last year because of a chronic hip issue. Maybe he still can't play. Maybe he has little left. A new contract would likely include some bonus money, and we should avoid that while it's unclear that we need him. He can't go anywhere in the meantime.

I think that was the play on Free when his salary was cut.

They might keep him and they might not. I'm sure the draft and Gregory and any other FA might change things

Because they often can be too loyal to players they shouldn't be that loyal to.
Exactly. Last year they could of cut him and upgrade both DT spots for the same combined price as cutting him but didn't. Would of also freed up the 2nd round pick to take Thornhill who was graded as a day 1 starter at a position of need.........

When you screw up that bad it gets people thinking he's untouchable

"acting" whos acting maybe its the media and fans but im betting not one person in the know around the ranch has ever said hes untouchable..they simply havent made the move ,YET...

So whats the hurry? we are 5-6 months from game one, draft still ahead etc etc..the Crawford talk now has heated up because they can no longer pick on Heath and Collins and Garett's, gone marinellis gone,..who can we ***** and whine about, oh yea, Crawford..

Give it a rest..we are all cooped up and have no other sports to chat abut but we are lucky to have some form of nfl, lets use it to be positive and stop throwing subjects at the wall hoping the truth sticks..jerry and Stephen hasn't mentioned trcaw at all..they have plan and no one here ill be privy to it until they want you too..

They have RDE's. Armstrong is an RDE. They just dont have starting caliber RDE's.

I think they are betting on Gregory

It's a better idea to give everyone else a chance to win the spot. Joe Jackson, Jaylen Jelks, Armstrong. Any of them. Because they may actually show the requisite skills to play the RDE position. Crawford simply lacks the physical talents that that position requires. He can try out there all day and give it everything he's got, he's just not that player.

how about this they wait until they need cp space and wait until after the draft and then hen the FA market is dried up they bring him a deal he cant refuse for about 50% of wht it is now and he can sit or play for twhat they offer..strategy..use him until you dont need him, his options dry up then low ball him.. o_O:rolleyes:

Honestly I don't know why moving Lawrence to RDE. Lawrence is a more natural RDE than he is an LDE. I understand you its difficult to find players that can do what he does on the left side, but moving him to the right should be on the table.
