It's a better idea to give everyone else a chance to win the spot. Joe Jackson, Jaylen Jelks, Armstrong. Any of them. Because they may actually show the requisite skills to play the RDE position. Crawford simply lacks the physical talents that that position requires. He can try out there all day and give it everything he's got, he's just not that player.
I started to like Armstrong as a rotational end last year. He started to get into a groove as an NFL DE. I think he can be a Mincey like player

I expect them to demand he take a pay cut before camp.

Cause it will be hard to ask that if injuries occur at the DE position in camp.

Another major stretch by Fisher.

I don't think there is any real connection to the Dak negotiations outside of the same agent

Yes, but there is a real connection between clickbait topics and what he will put out on Tweets to draw traffic.

Didn't know or forgot he's represented by Dak's agent ( Todd France )

Cowboys Murder Mystery: Why Are They Pretending Tyrone Crawford is 'Untouchable'?

FRISCO - Gotta tell ya, the last time we played "Dallas Cowboys Murder Mystery,'' it was about as complex as "Encyclopedia Brown.'' (Or, "Nancy Drew,'' if she was your thing. There simply had to be a logical financial reason for Dallas to have signed both kickers Kai Forbath and Greg Zuerlein - and indeed, there is. And contrary to conventional wisdom, once you see the clues ... you see that the Zuerlein signing did not in any way kill Forbath's chances of making the team in 2020. (Read here.)

I don't think its a mystery at all. Makes perfect sense to me what they are thinking. Do I necessarily agree with that logic? Maybe, maybe not.

Bringing this back up not because I love the guy lol but he’s not some rando with no inside knowledge

Maybe he's untouchable because he has the C-Virus.

The Clapper virus. A virus that allows you to be average yet can keep your job for 10 years.

Why are we pretending Fish knows anything?

My favorite Fish moment was when he was adamant "the Mavericks are not targeting Luka Doncic" on the day of the NBA draft.

I was thinking the Zeurlein signing was Jerry wanting to intro him at a press conference with the #4 jersey.

Similar to "Zeke who?"

That would have fun to see, but guess not.

And he's the furthest thing from a RDE. Go figure, the Roddle Marinutty head scratching continues.

Exactly. The very last position Tyrone Crawford should be playing. Having him there is a disservice to the player and to the team.

I think they are betting on Gregory

If they're betting on Gregory then they need their head examined more than he does. Look, I'm not in the camp that wants Gregory gone. I'm one of his fans and hopes he gets back in there. But betting on him? Now that's what I call a gambler!

no one wants to show their cards this time of year. Releasing Crawford would reveal possible draft plans. ITS LYING SEASON. Crawford is just a chess piece.

Damn... now I feel crappy over saying Bri was a "poor baby girl".
I'm such a heel. A cad. I take everything back.

Not the on-air criticism though. She gots work to do.
You didn't say it and you'll never do it again!

Yeah Gregory is a luxury. I would think Dallas would go through free agency and the draft with the mindset he isn't here. If he comes back, I'd welcome him. But hey, they have to know more about this situation than I do.

Do they?

They kept Garrett around for ten years-plus, didn't they?

:lmao:
