Oh yes those heartwarming sound bites that appear early in a relationship much like spring flowers, only to wither and die at the negotiation table.o_O
That said I hope he has an outstanding season:flagwave:

No it's to bad players in their primes are priced out of Cowboys spending range. Plenty folks want to play here
Well, they draft extremely well, so theres no real need to sign players from other teams.

My point exactly. But sometimes its neccessary. But honestly if a teams drafts well players in their prime should never hit free agency while in there prime

Dallas and the Raiders these days are viewed by free agents as last stops in the career...a retirement plan of sorts with a "golden parachute." JERRY BUCKS. lol..but with McCoy...I have a feeling this cat marches to a different drum and will be a gem.

Are you talking about the Cowboys? Because...no they don't.
I've been reading @Risenstar too much.

The sarcasm is at such a deep level it cannot be detected!

Just what they like to tell themselves sir.

Nothing at all wrong with filling gaps with role players on third contracts.

Just as long as the core is full of your own draft picks.

This team has been held back for so long by Jerry being stubborn about his hand picked puppet it's tough to even evaluate.

I DO know that if there was a staff in place that did more with less rather than the opposite, several of the last ten seasons would have been longer.

everyone is a winner in Jerrys world.
Hey man he has to sell his product.

Which is fine, but that by nature presents an extreme contrast to what he needs to do and say as the GM, a title which he insists on holding.

It cant be done. No one else has had success trying it, yet that isnt enough. Back for more Jerry.
