With Cooper signed they won't go WR in the 1st round. Why draft a player that will sit most plays his first year if there is a player who can play every down? Its going to be a CB or DL. I am curious to see what they do if one of the top OTs drops, or a player like Lamb. I am still expecting the Eagles to trade up ahead of Dallas. I can see them trading up into the top 15 to take a WR. They could also "steal" Henderson from Dallas.

I’m hoping for Chaisson, Baun or Kinlaw.

I’d also be onboard for linebacker R. Murray.

I warmed on CJ Henderson but I’ve started to feel a bit dubious of him lately.

A slight trade back into the early 20s to collect an extra 3rd rounder and Fulton (LSU) would be palatable.

Xavier McKinney for me. I see a Minkah Fitzpatrick/Eddie Jackson clone when I watch him play. Like Fitzpatrick he's the type of player who will rarely leave the field because his versatility allows him to play in any sub package. Dallas used to have a theory about taking the best player from a position group. They won't be able to draft the best DE, CB, WR, OT, or DT, but they may well have the chance to draft the best safety. With the way Dallas is stacking defensive linemen in free-agency it just feels like the first couple of picks are going to be secondary. It's hard to figure a new staff but my best guess would be safety/CB in rounds 1 & 2.

Why do many still say WR. We have Cooper and Gallup. They are not going to take a WR to play slot until the later rounds if at all.

Chaisson, Kinlaw, Henderson. All options. Is Delpit still considered in this range?
The reason I say WR is that some of the talent available at our pick can contribute immediately. I am in the win now mode more than team rebuilding. With Fred retiring, it throws a wrench into my system and really puts a premium on drafting an Olineman of some repute.

This line of thinking really needs to stop. The Cowboys' base offense is 3 WRs. Cobb played like 65% of snaps last year. The #3 WR is a starter.
