Won't believe it till I see it. Especially after that debatical play call vs Egals on 4th & goal w/ division crown on the line & Moore decides to bench our 2 top WR's.
I didn't get that one either.

There was definitely some questionable stuff concerning Mo. And at the same time, there were flashes of pure brilliance. W/ some concrete solid playcalling ideas inserted, there's a good chance Mo will improve.

The 4 I mentioned all came out of the gate as successful coordinators. Landry and Belichick needed some time as u say but as HC- both were already terrific coordinators.

Moore did open up the offense a little and expand the field-I'll give him that but I didnt see him knowing how to use his strengths during the game against the other teams weaknesses and adjust on the fly or "call the game".
Landry when interviewed after games would talk about weaknesses he was noticing and how he was trying to exploit them. If the team adjusted to cover their weakness Landry would know how to then hit the weakness that would create. He was constantly adjusting and hitting the other teams weaknesses
Moore on the other hand seems to be thinking this is a good play against a scenerio not taking into account its against an all pro cb while on the other side the odds may normally be a little worse but that cb hasnt been able to stop anyone.
dk if I'm explaining it right but Landry was playing a chess game that was constantly changing while Moore is just calling plays that should work for the scenario given regardless of personnel.

he may know how to draw up plays but that doesnt impress me. all 32 OC's should know that. I didnt see him managing the game

We are talking about a first year, young OC where whatever he did was overseen and influenced by Garrett. The kid obviously made mistakes, but overall one had to be impressed. #1 in yards and turned the passing game and Dak into a dynamic, but play passing attack.

The passing game was 160 yards away with Cobb of having 3 1000 receivers in one season.

And a REAL offensive mind like MM to make him understand certain things and interject when needed.

I think Kellen the Beaver Moore did a great job for a first year coordinator considering he was dealing with Jason garrett who was fighting for his job! We all had to expect some ups and downs, heck we see ups and downs from even the best coaches and coordinators. The Beave a chance!

IMO, that's what we're going to see this season. I think the kid was strapped by JG, and still showed some promise, albeit w/ way too much Garrett still shining through.
I would not be surprised. Garrett always struck me as the guy who surrounded himself with mediocrity so he would be recognized as the smartest guy in the room. It was kind of astounding to see some of the talent on the coaching staff like Matt Eberflus move on without much of fight or even an attempt to keep him in place.

Twice!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time Callahan was even worse so Jerry let him take them back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are 100 percent correct on both your replies on this subject. I can't believe someone is defending Garrett and saying his playcalling duties weren't taken from him.

He gave MM full autonomy to hire and fire his coaching staff. That is a fact.

you don't know that as fact..lol
Kellen is Jerry's wonder boy and he's still here.you know he allowed him to fire some

Why? I don't know. But unless you completely missed last season, he did it several times. I would have your failing memory checked out. It might be symptomatic of a larger problem.

when? what proof you have? when coaches were asked specifically by Broaddus, he was told it was Moore's show to a man. You're guessing. again come with some facts

Now I get where the genius tag comes from. All you have to do is suck less than your predecessors did.

Coordinator of the month, wasn’t that long ago half this board wanted Richard as the new coach. Moore has a lot to prove. Pump the brakes as a wise man once said.
I remember another wise man say

“Let's not break out the anointing oil just yet."
