How would you feel if the Cowboys took QB Jalen Hurts early?

Are you guys drunk? Hurts will not be an NFL starter. Not a decent one. He's a terrible passer.

Dak has some accuracy issues. Hurts has "zip code accuracy".

Hurts was considered 4th round talent. His rise is weird and fluky and makes no sense.

And here's why his comp % was high: "Impressive comp % was inflated by easy quick screens and dumpoffs to backs."

This is some of the craziest stuff I've heard. Hurts isn't an NFL QB. How in the world did he start getting rated so highly? Insane.

Facts are facts. Jalen was a more accurate college QB. Dak is obviously the better pro QB, but that took 4 years of development. Where will Jalen be in 4 years, who knows? But clearly scouts would say Jalen may be more NFL ready and skilled when you consider his projected draft position vs where Dak went. You would feel the same way too if they were both part of the same rookie class. None of it matters when Jalen hits the pros, but stating Jalen is a far less accurate QB when comparing where they both were at this point is inaccurate.
He wasn't. Do the research.

Dak passed downfield. Hurts dumped high % passes to RB's and TE's.

Jalen is not skilled. He is a terrible passer.

I would be totally disgusted in the cowboys if they took hurts before the fourth round. he is a poors mans Prescott. Prescott is much better then hurts and that is not saying much.

ive been saying this ALL OFF SEASON but not early but at 3/4 area of the draft, yes it provides a young qb to learn for year and hes a lot like dak and can be used while learning like Taysomn Hills..let him get his feet wet much like Jackson did being the swiss army knife and running some wild cat and rpos etc ..

those saying it can hurt negotiations with dak, feeling hurt ****** dude!!

teams constantly draft behind their starter looking to the future or to have a quality backup.. F dak and his feelings..as GM with dak agents and himself being stubborn and digging in, I am taking a QB around 3/4 and Jhurts can be dak close while a backup..

those saying hes more in accurate then dak is looking at Dak learning for 4years on the fly, hes basically the Dak Comp to as rookie..Im sure you give him Cooper, Gallup, Jarwin , Pollard, and Zeke as well as agood drafted slot WR and this oline im betting Jhurts can handle the NFL. he not being sent to a top 10 team in the draft who are rebuilding.. hes basically getting what dak got when he was thrown from 3rd on the depth chart to starter and went 13-3 , add MM and KM , id say you are underestimating the offensive weapons', coaches, and for sure overvaluing Dak..

It's hilarious that some of the people who think Dak is awful actually think Hurts is going to be a good NFL QB.
It’s equally hilarious that you could change the op from “Jalen Hurts” to “Dak Prescott”, go back in time exactly four years and you would get the same exact reaction from the Dak slobberers themselves. Literally zero awareness.

3-4 years from now I hope all the doubters are able to look back and finally learn the lessen that poise, leadership, commitment to fundamentals etc are most important in making a qb

Hurts is better than Dak leaving college and will be the surprise star qb from this draft

Justin Herbert is a poor fundamental arm thrower and will flame out to backup in 2-3 years

Jordan Love will never be a consistent starter unless he is in a situation where he is the least special element of the offensive and defensive units

He's not a lot like Dak. Dak is a passer, Hurts is not.

Hey, that's the same things they said about Tebow!!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, that's Hurts' best NFL comparison.

Hurts isn't better than Dak leaving college.

:lmao2::lmao::facepalm:

Daks a Thrower as is Jackson, and yes Hurts..sorry but Dak isnt even close to being a pure passing qb..he as rookie was Jhurts and improved some but they are a lot more alike then you think..

BTW as Jackson has showed the league you can be thrower and succeed its not knock on Dak but he looks constipated more times then not in his release, its not natural and why he has to work on it,, he gets it done more times then not but he does not PASS smoothly,he chucks and hucks with the best of them..sure hes improved but he more like Hurts then he is Rogers and Stafford types who simply flick the ball from any angle and looks like its a missle flowing in slow motion..smooth..thats a passer..

so hilarious Fans think Daks a passer, hes was being mocked for his warmups as hes trying hard to get muscle memory for better throwing..liek i said kudos for improving but he works so hard at passing, you can see it , just herkey jerky more times then not especially under pressure..too bad he cant play the giants 16 games a year..

Lasty go back to the QB section of the Combine the talk was the surprise of Hurts throwing a lot better then they expected..

All for drafting a QB in day 3 or if the value is exceptional in day 2. Dunno who though based off how teams overrate QB's in the draft though

You should try posting w/o throwing the insults first. Weak stuff, dude.

Dak is a passer compared to Hurts. Hurts is awful.

K...

For the record, I think Dak is a much better passer and QB than Hurts will be.
Dak has been in the NFL for 4 seasons so that is to be expected. But you still have fans that talk about Dak as if he has not improved since his rookie season.

lol...I remember all the talk about Lamar Jackson too. Hurts isn't as fast but the negative complaints are the same from the masses...lol
Nothing against Hurts but
Saying Hurts isn't as fast as Jackson is pretty big understatement.
Jackson is usually faster than the entire defense. Hurts is faster than 4 or 5 at most.
Plus, Jackson's arm strength is WAY higher than Hurts.

Hurts is much more like Dak than Jackson
