If Cowboys get Dak signed low enough maybe Bengals would do some trading?

I sure would be thrilled to see Joe Burrow lead the next generation of Cowboys under McCarthy.
Perhaps the Bengals would give up their number one pick if Dak was under contract for 4 or 5 years.
The Cowboys could get Burrow and under his rookie deal would save millions of dollars.
I just can't see why Jerry and Stephen wouldn't be trying to sell this package to the Bengals, unless they are absolutely not interested in Dak.

Ok, the only team I could see a trade actually work with is Miami who have the #5, #18 and #26 picks in the 1st round. They currently have 23M in cap space, but can free up another 10M or so pretty easily.

First, there must be a contract offer that Dak and his agent like enough , to make him sign his franchise tag and thus make him tradeable to Miami.
Second, Miami would have to free up more cap space just to cover Dak's contract and signing bonus...so bye bye WR Albert Wilson and probably others but of course that's their problem etc.
Third, Jerry must be also be willing to either draft a QB to replace Dak with the #17 pick or acquire a veteran like Dalton, Newton, Winston, Flacco or do BOTH, because Miami is not going to give him the #5 pick that's for damn sure. It will likely be the #26 pick along with their 2021 first round pick as compensation for taking Dak....umm yeeeaah.

So there you go bro...the PERFECT STORM for trading Dak for draft picks that will never happen of course.

Or...could it...actually happen??

Dom dom dommmm (music effect)

I find it hilarious that the Dak haters will find any possible scenario where Dallas make a trade. Dak will never be traded and will be the cowboys for the foreseeable future. The only way he leaves is if they use the non-exclusive tag and some team is willing to give out the biggest contract in NFL history plus two first round draft picks. Since that is unlikely to happen, get on board or go root for some other team.

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people here are under the idea that Jerry, Stephen, McCarthy and Nussmieir have for even a tiny split second have considered trading Prescott let alone contacted anyone to try to trade him. Next if Prescott's contract is as high as those that have SPECULATED it to be and if Burrows is so good and better than Prescott, why would the bengals trade for Prescott with that huge contract when according to some here Burrows is a better QB and they would getting him on a rookie contract. Using the logic that Prescott haters use as reasons to get rid of him are easily used against them with simple logic.

It's not anti-Dak.
It's pro-Cowboys.
This would be a great deal for the Cowboys.

The Bengals GM would have to hire round-the-clock body guards and additional administrative assistants to read all the hate-mail-death-threats... and somebody to start up his car,,, and somebody to taste his food,,, and a divorce lawyer.

lol. You are beyond delusional.

lol no..

It’s common knowledge what Dak is and the only people who think that my opinion is delusional are the people on this forum.

Dak is not that great.. That’s the reality.. He won’t lose games but he doesn’t make plays when you need him in big games..

1 playoff win in 4 years while he was making nothing.

I would love to see Daks face when he is told you have been traded to the Bengals. That would probably be the best thing for him and the team because the hatred is only going to grow for Dak. The whole front office is going to be criticized by the media. Its not that Dak the person is bad its more that Dak the QB is too mediocre to be paying elite money to.
Burrows would be and upgrade for sure.

So Dak wouldn't get hate from Bengals fans after the team used the number 1 overall pick to acquire him?

you think burrow is going to be any good? He will not have the same talent level in Cincy that he had at LSU. I live in Cincy and Burrow is in for a long several years. He has no oline, no triple threat receiving corps, the def is in shambles and a young coaching staff. Fans like you are about to find out how average burrow is and how good Dak really is.

No, that's trolling that's sadly being allowed...and you know it.
Just because someone doesn’t like Dak like you do doesn’t make it trolling. You can say the word trolling all day but again disagreement with your POV doesn’t equate to trolling. We can all just not pay attention to threads not in our bubble but we don’t because we like the disagreements if we are being honest. I know I like seeing the ways y’all go to make Alex Smith Jr look way better than he is. It’s like a look into a shady used car salesmen online to me lol

It's clearly trolling. Read how he attacked Dak supporters just like you just did as well. You little heartbroken constant complainers are a joke. The Cowboys love Dak for good reason. Dak is going to be in Dallas for a very long time whether you like it or not.

I didn’t attack anybody save them dog whistle buddy. If I think y’all are slimy used car salesmen for hyping up an average qb that’s jist what it is. You don’t have to agree but that’s how I see y’all. I’m not heartbroken at all that’s the problem. You’re just upset I don’t agree with your take on Smith Jr and if we are such a joke you should have noooooooo problem not engaging with us but your like a fly to you know. The Cowboys love Dak soooo much he’s currently looking like Cousins 2.0 whole everyone else on the team and their momma getting signed. Yep true love right there when they’re going back and forth over a year allegedly. We don’t know how long Dak going to be here but as long as he is just expect more average play from that position.

Smith Jr? Who in the heck is Smith Jr, and when have I ever mentioned any Smith Jr? You clearly have me confused for someone else, but then again, it's not surprising. Keep believing Dak is average. I'll keep laughing at your constant complaining.

Keep up turtle. Dak is Smith Jr aka Alex Smith the current godfather of this average qb expletive. Am I supposed to care if you’re laughing at my constant “complaining”? You make yourself look silly when you claim I’m a constant complainer but still can’t stop engaging with me. Get it together sir because your laughs don’t hurt me. It just shows me you have no willpower

You're the one who responds to my post, sourpuss. Dak is Smith Jr? What a joke. Keep sounding so badly misinformed. Your misery is laughable but entertaining. 2 + 2 = ???
