Trading down in the draft makes the most sense this year

Just like the 2013 draft.....A lot of people didn't see it coming......but picking up an extra 3rd could be the way to go this year....

Massive reach in the first, even with a trade down. Outside of Pittman, I would be pretty upset about that draft haul

Pittman in the 2nd is too soon. I watched a lot of his games and he plays slow especially coming off the line. Hard to say how well his game transfer to the NFL.

To much offense. We need guys on Defense, Not opposed at all for trading back but we need Def, Unless one of those stud WR fall to us than I would make an exception

The dream names aren't falling to the Cowboys. You know the names.

But multiple players the Cowboys like at 17 make this a easy call.

I feel like we have this same discussion every year and every year there really isn't the opportunity to move down without getting burned a bit on compensation.

It might help if someone like Herbert starts to slide and a QB needy team gets antsy.

I would take the BPA in round 1 if it is an offensive player and wait for defense... but that offensive player would have to be significantly better than the defensive prospects. Biadasz won’t be that. For sure.

Then, to not address defense until the late 3rd and 4th rounds? I would be seething after that draft.

If you would have gone Cesar Ruiz after a small trade down and then gone defense/defense/defense, I would be fine with it. Maybe even like it.

But this? Rubbish. Intended, I think, to shock and anger the readers here into responding.
