Does anyone know how we’re supposed to watch the draft?

Is there going to be anyway to watch this now? It would seem hypocritical to have camera men/women in the homes of the owners and GMs. Are we just refreshing CowboysZone every 2 minutes when it’s our turn to pick? I hope there’s SOME way we can watch this but i don’t know how it would be possible.

I plan on using my television to watch the draft...don't know about anyone else.

From what I have heard, the NFL sent cameras to prospective (probable) picks for them to set up in their homes. The televised show will be a joint venture between the NFL and ESPN using ESPN studio (NFL Network is in NY so they don't have access to it). The primary host will be in studio and all the "experts" will be elsewhere (probably mostly in their homes).

I think it will be interesting to see how they pull this off.

Steps on How to Watch the Draft:

1. Get your favorite beverage and snacks.
2. Sit in you favorite place, couch, recliner, bed, floor, hanging from the ceiling fan.
3. Pick up the remote to the TV.
4. Push the power button on the remote, or if you need exercise, get off the place you are sitting and walk to push the power button on the TV, if you can find it.
5. Tune into ESPN or NFLN, then tune into the other one. So you can switch back and forth, hopefully avoiding commercials and insane comments by the pundits.
6. If you have a laptop or near your computer, login into CZ to vent or rejoice about our picks.
7. Repeat the next 2 days.

Other Options if need be:
1. Send the wife / husband / kids to another area you are in.

im not sure why people are worried and not sure what you mean pull this off.?

we are in the peak of the internet live streaming era and they have all the technology to easily pull it off, its different but not unheard of, normal people have used webinars and group meetings via the internet world wide for a decade now..

it will definitely feel weird because we are used to the old way but truly if you think about ti , its actually getting stale and old , maybe this will be the ay they do it from now on if it goes off without a hitch..

What is the mystery? Everything will be the same but without fans and players at the draft.

ESPN and the NFL Network are supposedly working some type of deal where both channels are covering the same thing at the same time sort of co-hosting. Makes sense with 33 different locations plus most likely some type of video (Zoom, Facetime, etc.) with all the draftees. Sure they will announce something soon. Also don't be surprised if it includes one or more of the major outlets like CBS and FOX.

Watch the 2020 NFL Draft live on NFL Network, ESPN and ABC.
So should be on all 3 channels.
Starts April 23rd

I will add , I dont think they need war room coverage, as there was no audio on that anyway, so kinda silly.
It should have been miked up, then it would be interesting.
I dont really care about the big star round one picks being onhand either.
Just want the picks and maybe some college HL of the guy and a little commentary on him.

Big draft parties in in confined rooms is my guess.

Why waste time anywhere else than cowboyszone during the draft? Just follow along in the draft thread. The entertainment you find there blows away anything the tv could provide. I am serious. A good mix of informative, humorous, and all other kinds shooting from the hip.

Hard part is keeping your filter on so as not getting benched :)
