I know I’ll be in the minority but I hate that show more than any of them. The host sounds like some hillbilly hick from Hee Haw. A couple of months ago he kept saying “I’m goin to Mexico, I’m goin to Mexico, I’m goin to Mexico!” I find him annoying. The other guy on the show sounds like he’s half asleep. Nate and his bad grammar wears me down. It’s hey man this and hey man that. I’m okay with Jesse Holly at least he’s candid but he can get annoying. Sometimes they’ll spend the first several minutes of the show laughing and talking about things that have nothing to do with football. When I get really bored I try listening to the show but can only make it through 10 or 15 minutes before cutting it off.
+1
i felt the same way with Hanging with the boys and the way they do their show format. It was a quick turn off for me, and i never went back to listening
nate has two sides to him, as he can be silly and giggly as hell, his radio demeanor is horrible if he isn't directed to be more serious and no nonsense.
as it's exactly as you described it with the "
hey, man ..hey man" ,.and..." i promise you ' ..and i keep thinking all those peeves mentioned could that have been the reason for getting him off talkin Cowboys show and more to Hangin with da Boyz show. Which Newton admitted he didn't like being moved to a new show.
Oddly when he guest stars on Firing Line every Monday on ESPN radio 103.3 during NFL season, he gets into a more serious, forwarded mode ,,and much
easier to listen to ..vs his mode on hanging with the Boyz.
i cant listen to Jessie Holley for too long, maybe as a special guest here and there but not regularly, ..his ranting criticism just to prove he is not Cowboys-bias can get annoying, especially when it seems he doesn't know what he is talking about .. but 105.3 the Fan radio won't admit it but every since Holley was fired from the station, their Saturday morning shows have really suffered. ..imo.
and whoever those co-host are for Hanging with the Boyz, i cant handle listening to them, they are annoying and bring nuthin of intrigue, appeal or interest to the show.
