Initially there was a lot of hype about him and Woods and Btown.Dallas Cowboys: Will Chidobe Awuzie make a name for himself in 2020?
https://thelandryhat.com/2020/04/11/dallas-cowboys-chidobe-awuzie-name-2020/
...He has had a good track record so far, improving every season for three consecutive years. While playing only 30 percent of the defensive snaps in his rookie season, Awuzie defended seven passes and made 25 tackles while intercepting one pass.
The following season, his snaps jumped up to 86 percent. That along with starts in 14 of 15 games played. The passes defended increased to 11, tackles up to 71, and yet again intercepted one pass.
The 2019 season saw 16 starts with 95 percent of defensive snaps. The corner’s best season yet saw him defend 14 passes and make 79 tackles, while yet again intercepting one pass. He also managed to force one fumble, make one tackle for a loss, and hit the opposing quarterback once...
I wouldn’t be opposed to this. But no way Detroit doesn’t draft him3. CB Jeff Okudah: Cowboys
While there should still be some very good cornerbacks available with the 17th overall pick, the Cowboys, who lost cornerback Byron Jones last month in free agency, should looking into the possibility of trading up to acquire Okudah, who is unanimously considered the best defensive back in the draft. Along with displaying an elite skill set during his time at Ohio State, Okudah also plays with a swagger that would surely be welcomed in Dallas and by the team's rabid fan base.
Okudah, whose ability has been compared to Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, studies all of the NFL's elite corners. He said that he specifically watches tape of Patrick Peterson and Stephon Gilmore, the league's reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
"I'll never get complacent because I feel like there's always a constant chase," Okudah said during a recent appearance on NFL Network. "I'm chasing some of the great corners in the game right now, and there's corners that are chasing me. I feel like, if you understand the constant chase, you'll always be good on the field."
One potential trade partner for the Cowboys could be the Panthers, who own the seventh overall pick but are likely open to moving back and acquiring extra draft capital.

That would cost 51, and probably next years 1st....or 51, next years 2nd, and a starter making little money.3. CB Jeff Okudah: Cowboys

For a corner? If you KNOW he is Derelle Revis, I suppose it's worth it, but no one does, and plenty of cant miss guys find a way to miss.
Seriously. What's wrong here??
Perfect shot to bash Awuzie and you bash each other.
Play nice kids.
I’m standing up for someone else. LolSeriously. What's wrong here??

Yeah we mis-use everyone who isn’t Byron Jones at CB since he’s the only one who fit Richards scheme correctly. If you look at Chidos college tape, he played a lot more zone and was featured in SS/blitz roles and thrived. He’s a solid CB2 who’s football instincts were neutered while in this scheme.I think Dallas should work on an extension this offseason with Chidobe.
He is not nearly as bad as this forum would have you believe. He’s a pretty good player and I’m fine with him as our #2 corner.
If he fits the new scheme then Dallas needs to try and get ahead of this and get him signed.
If we draft a corner high he’s the CB2, how does your CB1 go from starting to bench with one addition lol. In any scenario not named injury, Chido is your starting corner on one side in 2020.It was just yesterday I was being told I was wrong about him, cause cause cause it took such a perfect throw to beat him. Every time. A perfect throw. He is not player and has never been. I will hold out slight hope a new staff can get him to you know actually look for the ball for once in his life. If we draft a corner high, he’s the one going to the bench
