Not underrated just a movie most people haven’t heard of.

The Last Breath

Very good documentary about a commercial diving accident. On Netflix and definitely worth a watch.

I Saw The Devil

The trailer is a bit much for posting but it's a good movie. It's in Korean so subtitles are a must. I don't think I've ever felt so uncomfortable watching a movie, which pretty much means the actors, director, and producers did a fantastic job. The movie is truly disturbing, and that's what makes it so good.

Maybe not underrated, but not one I hear talked about often.

I just watched it. I am certified as a scuba instructor and this saturation diving scares the you know what out of me. I would never venture this far into diving......never! :laugh:

i've seen " I saw the Devil" when it was made available on streaming, its definitely violent and blood gory, its been awhile since i last saw it.
maybe it was way of the hunt down and torture ways and makeup of the villain that made it so captivating.

Talk about disturbing though, there's probably not a more disturbing movie than Irreversible, that featured Monica Belluci.
And i thought we once had a thread here in this forum, quite awhile back that featured most disturbing movies seen.

Payback - with Mel Gibson

End up easily being one of Gibson's better movies.
But somehow wasn't recognized at theaters and ended being more appreciated on the rental shelves
One of the better under the radar underrated movies i've seen.

This was easily one of the creepiest Hammer Horror Production films i've ever seen growing up back in the day.
Rare film where both Lee and Cushion are allies and heroes together. :cool:

The Voices - Ryan Reynolds and Anna Kendrick. It's a dark comedy where his dog and cat talk to him, kinda a devil/angel on the shoulder situation. The cat tries talking him into bad things and the dog tries to keep him from doing them. If you like dark comedies, you'll love this one.



Cold In July - Michael C Hall (Dexter), Sam Shepard and Don Johnson. Great thriller, good story with some twists and turns. Great performances by all 3 but, Don Johnson was awesome.




The Dead Lands - Kinda like "Apocolypto" but with Maori warriors. It's subtitled with it all in Maori language, great fight scenes, but pretty brutal with stone and wood weapons. And the occasional Haka to get you pumped up.
