Ehh, Tyron was a mediocre RT year 1 and a mediocre LT year 2 before becoming great.
Travis was bullied year 1.

There were some lean OL years in there.
But again it was mostly a team issue and Romo contributed with his play style and contract.

Team won all of 2 playoff games with Tony so no one escapes blame. It was an underachieving era.
Front office was bad then got better then lulled then got better again.
Jason was terrible as OC/play caller then learned on job as head coach.
Romo def had some pressing mistakes late in games.
And lots of bad luck to be found.... Crayton drop, fumbled PAT, Dez robbery, Murray fumble.

Can you imagine how Dak would be viewed if he started 5 more years and we won only one more playoff game???
I didnt read anything after that. DeMarco rushed for his first 1000k yard season Freddie's first season on around 200 carries. Bullied my big toe

The owner/GM matters.
the same owner and GM who has the broncos sucking the last 3 seasons or more, cant find qb after 10 tries and 14 trades lol overpaid Brock and others..traded a DE that went elsewhere and was elite? had some great young Rbs but still go after some tool in FA , that GM/Owner and great president?

its easy in hindsight to say why a team got over the hump but sometimes its players just executing better and they had a smothering defense, great kicker, solid coaching but Pmannig could barely throw 15yards but knew how to call an audible, a to, or a better play..

-Good coaching
-An elite defense coming together at just the right moment
-Peyton Manning
-Cam Newton urinating all over himself and turning back into a pumpkin. That super bowl marked the beginning of his decline that has culminated just recently with him being released.

The Patriots pretty much can't stand each other. No one ever seems to be happy on that team. Hmmmmm....

Stacked D. Beyond stacked. Not sure they even had a JAG starting at any D position.

That defense was the closest thing I've seen since the 1993 Cowboys Doomsday Defense that could rock your jock at every single position.

This further confirms that Jerry not Garrett is and always will be the problem , until he decides to stand back and let the coach hire his staff, have control over his team we will do more of the same

I used to work with a girl that was best friends with Romos college girlfriend. She hated the Cowboys because of Romo and how he treated people in general. Said that he literally acted like he was better than everyone else to include his girlfriend. I personally didnt care. He was my QB and I dont know him personally but I can see how a locker room can become divided with a personality like that at QB.
My ex girlfriend’s best friends have said some untrue things about me before. Just saying. You stick up for your friends, not your friend’s ex.

Thats true but I believed her. As I told her I dont know Romo personally so I dont care as long as he balls on Sundays. But reflecting on what Darren Woodson had to say specifically about how Romo couldnt quite demand the respect of his teammates like Dak could and now reading what Ware had to say about the "team" I can see how it could be true.

Its funny how fans want to believe the best things about their heros in sports. They seem so let down when something doesnt reflect their personal perception of said player. I think its healthier if you save your expectations for players for what they do on the field and not what they do off the field.

Players hanging out together did not win Denver that Super Bowl, good players and good coaching did.
I’m sure, NE winning all those Super Bowls, was not because the players hung our together. Again it was good players and in their case great coaching.

Dallas never won a Super Bowl with Garrett, obviously because of the lack of coaching, not because they didn’t hang out together enough.
I like the idea of Poe hanging out with McCoy,, like best bro style, right next to each other,, get through that 650 lb wall.

Not sure where you're getting this. It's Belichick that makes it hard place to work but there are basically zero stores about player vs player drama on that team. And fans of other teams hate him, but basically every ex-player says Tom Brady was an easy guy to get along with, including chronic malcontents elsewhere like Martellus Bennett and Randy Moss.

>>>> basically saying, Cowboys turned into a money business team. Stats, points, graphs, stock ..etc. Players on their own islands. JG had all the markings of that, Jerry loved the guy for 10 yrs. .lol...
