What am I wrong about?

The whole nation is talking about Dak and saying the things I’m saying and showing why signing Dak may not be the best move for our long term future.

Yea low IQ people that don’t know what they’re talking about.

Just typical negotiation strategy. Trying to increase his leverage.

Dude.. You can’t even control your emotions over a post where no one even attacked you and now you want to talk about IQ..

Stop crying because this fan base is almost split when it comes to caving into Dak’s demands and if you don’t see the possible downsides then maybe you should check your IQ because there is plenty of information out there why paying Dak is potentially something that could destroy our Super Bowl chances.

Our Super Bowl chances already plummeted when we set the market for an overrated runningback and a good but oft-injured LDE.

FWIW. Didn't watch the video

Source: Dak to skip Cowboys' virtual offseason

A source tells Mike Florio Dak Prescott will skip the Cowboys' virtual offseason program as he still waits on a long-term deal with Dallas.

"as he still waits on a long-term deal with Dallas"

He's been offered many long-term deals. He wants mo money.

Does he plan on *not* playing on the tag if he continues to reject the offers?

I don't blame a guy for wanting more money. I do blame a guy for not preparing for the season.

I would have much better gotten rid of the RB than the QB. It's much easier to replace a RB than a franchise QB. I said it last year, Zeke and Dak very likely planned this and agreed to support each other as they both demand top overall position pay.

Franchise QB ?????:omg:
Did we trade or are we drafting one?

When was the last time the supposed best runningback in the NFL had a run of more than 39 yards? I'll wait.

One, I still think this is a huge reason McCarthy kept Moore. The team anticipated Dak doing this and didn't want to completely change terminology.

Two, Florio is a clown. The team did make him a good offer three years in. Dak wouldn't take it unless it was his (very high) number.
That is total BS.
They offered 7 years, 32.5 million, with only 90 guaranteed. It was a slap in the face when QBs he has completely outperformed got 4 year extensions and 20 million more guaranteed.

Please please please let Tua or Herbert be in range for us. Send D$k packing to the Raiders to hang out Heath and Witten. Or some other destitute franchise.

Serious question. Since D$k has not signed the tag. Can he be traded on draft day?
No, you cannot trade a player that is not under contract and since Dak has not signed his franchise tag, he is officially not under contract to the Cowboys.

As a 4th round draft pick he signed a 4 year deal and completed all 4 years, so he has completed his contractual obligation to the Cowboys, the only reason he could not go sign with another team is because of the franchise tag that Dallas applied. But Dak never signed the tag, as is his right under the CBA, so technically he is no longer under contract to the Cowboys.

Ergo, Dak cannot be traded and he cannot be fined for missing any team activities, including training camp and preseason games until he signs his tender. But here is the kicker fellas, the entire $32 million franchise tag is applied to the Cowboy's cap whether Dak signs or not.

Don't blame him. He shouldn't show up until he has to or Barnum and Bailey give him a long term deal with a short length so he can have multiple bites at the free agency apple.

See, this is what happens when you pay Jaylon after just 1 good season, when you pay DLaw when he refused to get the surgery he needed until he got paid, this is what happens when you pay Zeke when he holds out with 2 years left on his contract.

This stuff sends a message to the other players that when it comes time for them to get theirs, play hard ball.

Jerry and Steven are easy marks now, so any player that is half way decent knows he can fleece them.

The guy is a total punk now...

We’re not winning the SB; make an example of him...

How exactly do you make an example out of a player not under contract to your team:huh:

What are you going to do? You cant trade Dak, you cant fine Dak, you cant do jack to Dak.

Your only option is to pull the tag and let Dak become and unrestricted free agent, that's your only play here. Either pay him or pull the tag, that are your only options at this point.
