Only 4 QBs in NFL history have won more games their first four seasons than Dak. If you want to put all the blame on him for the season we had last year and none on the defense go ahead. He balled out against the two teams that ended up in the NFC title game but our defense couldn’t hold up. Our defense got shredded by Mitch Trubisky and Sam Darnold. You need to take a closer look at as to why we ended up 8-8.

You're right, but pretty close. Either way, we're not paying $6+ million for a backup QB either.

So basically, we went 8-8 with a loaded roster and a cheap rookie contract. 0 playoff wins in 4 years.

... and you want to give him a $100 million contract? Thank the Giants and Commanders for gifting us 4 wins.

The Dallas Cowboys were 4-8 against teams not named the Giants and Commanders; not the Dallas Dak Prescotts.

LOL......Alice in wonderland would be proud with the fantasy world you present with the above post.
In both games, our offense was asleep for 3 Quarters till garbage time came and Dak padded his stats.
End result we lose again!

Big deal so Dak made history with his arm. Let's talk about the other history he is associated with when it comes to the Boys. How about Dak leading HIS team as double digit favorites against both the JETS & the AAA Eagles and getting his behind handed to him. Let's talk about ALL the experts picking the Boys to DOMINATE last year and they ended 8-8 and doing something down their legs because Dak played like HORSEPUCKIE!!! Do you want to talk about more history about Dak……..I don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The offense had a lot to do with the losses though as did special teams.

One impressive record Dak owns now is 15 Quarters of str8 offense without 1 TD.

..or if the defense didn't get shredded for over 330 passing yards by the immortal Sam Darnold? Including a 92 yard TD pass that was ultimately the difference in the game?

Football is a team sport. While the quarterback is clearly the most important player, he's not out there alone. Teams lose when the quarterback is a liability. Dak may not be top-five elite, but he is not a liability.

The 8-8 record last year can be pinned on Jason Garrett; not Dak. Just my opinion.

We had a loaded offense and little on defense. The main reason our offense ranked number one in the league was because of our QB who was having to carry us in games. He put up 850 yards against the two teams that went to the NFC title game but our defense couldn’t hold up. It’s obvious you’re not watching the games because we don’t have zero playoff wins. We beat Seattle in 2018 in the playoffs.

Our defense was the biggest problem. The biggest problem we had on offense was an inconsistent kicker. We scored over 30 points six times and over 40 points twice. Granted we left some TDs out there in critical situations but we can go far with this offense if we can improve the defense.

Then it miraculously disappeared the following week? lol Some really love excuses! Biggest game of the year and they failed. Miserably! Against a division team with a rash of injuries. And it wasn't even surprising that's the sad part.
