The receiver looked like he was impeded. Had he not been held, it wouldn't have been a clear interception. Heath would have maybe been in position to break the pass up instead of being alone to catch the ball.
I think we’re talking about a different play. I’m talking about fourth-quarter. Jeff clearly caught the ball. I just don’t know if it was in bounds

The penalty was called on a different corner back a different receiver I believe
Carr. Looking at the clip, don't you believe that should have been called on Brown? And if Brown did grab the receiver, do you think the receiver would have been in a position to prevent Heath from making the interception? Rodgers didn't just throw a bad pass, his receiver was interfered with, IMO.

Edit: looking at the play log, it was a penalty on Brown.

one of the most frustrating losses in the last ten years. both packers losses were. a better head coached team wins both of those games.

Because he’s just not that good of a football player. He’s meh.

That’s the kind of stuff that a JAG does.

Hell Roy Williams forces that fumble 99/100 times.

Well Lawerence didn't go for the ball either on his tackle in the backfield, Heath did get the int earlier and had another taken away by penalty

Garrett blew the clock management, game plan, and end of game play calling. He panicked at the end. Dont blame it on the Refs.

Lol 35 seconds on their own 20 then 3rd 20, no reason your players should allow a 51 yard fg attempt.

Taking those plays away would not guarantee victory for Dallas.

I agree with the statement that those two GB-DAL playoff games would have been Cowboys victories with better coaching.

what coaching? these games were lost on mistakes. what coach is going to guarantee you a victory? none

we saw the same type of situation with Romo in 2006, with the almighty Bill Parcells.

Was at both GB playoff games: this and 2014. This was far worse.

Packets literally put everything into beating us that day only to roll over for ATL the following week.

Think Crosby missed several chip shots the following week but managed to hit two 50 yarders against us smh

This sort of stuff is what jerked my string watching that game.

Knowing we had our best team in decades.

And we still lost after a 13-3 season.

All of our flaws were exposed and everybody just assumed the next season we would return and be better.

Flatline.

I finally turned the game off knowing the ending so well.

We have never returned to that level again.

Not but it totally killed the drive. Settled for a FG.

But was the penalty correct? People keep trying to float the intimation that this was some conspiracy penalty where, as I pointed out earlier, it slipped past BOTH player and coaches who could have called a timeout to reset and not get called for it. They didn't.

well we have MM now the guy who beat dallas both games.
it would be funny if dallas wound up playing GB again in div round of 2020 playoffs , who wins now?

The penalty was correct. It sucked, it stalled our drive.

I remember everyone complained. It’s rarely called and Dallas always gets screwed. Come to find out the last time that penalty was called before this game was when the Commanders were flagged against...the Cowboys. I guess the NFL hates the Commanders more than us.

None of that disproves the fact that Heath just isn’t that good of a player. He is a 3rd safety on a good team. You need guys like Heath. But he isnt a starting level start guy.

Lawrence wasn’t either in 2016. He was still developing at that point.

Packers first three possessions of the game:
5 plays, 75 yards, TD
13 plays, 90 yards, TD
9 plays, 80 yards, TD

Their first possession of the second half:
6 plays, 75 yards, TD

Four TD drives of 75 yards or more, on the road. Yeah, the refs "stole" it.

Defense was putrid this game. But you will have some ignorant people try and blame the offense. Dak had one bad play in this game and it was a weird pass to Dak. They were not on the same page at all and it was picked. If you score 31 in an NFL game, your offense did its job that day.

3 straight possessions to start the game and Rodgers carved us up like it was nothing. Do deflating. They could not make a play to save their lives that game.

Heath is a special teams player that we had as a starting safety because this team values that position zero and they go the cheapest route possible. Same as DT. Heath would be good to have as a backup who can play a few games if need be. But for whole seasons? Nah. He gets exposed over and over again. He might make a play here and there but overall, he isn't good.

Saints 2018

Great win for us. Not sure if it is considered a classic. Probably the best I have seen this defense play in forever here. Against a high powered offense. Although, they started to taper off in the last part of that season.
