You specifically said he threw for 5,000 yards. There is no "rounding up" here - the amount of yards he threw were the amount of yards he threw. He threw 4,902 yards, Winston beat him in this category. So, he's not even a winner there. Big Ben threw for 5,100+ yards in 2018....missed the playoffs. Passing yards are completely meaningless, this isn't 1980s anymore with Dan Marino.

LOL oh what they do? Putting up few points until the fourth quarter? That's how NFL offenses work? And what did I expect against the Pats D? I expected our offense to put up more than 9 points. They couldn't even get into the end zone one time? Somehow Brady managed to do it and their offense sucked last season. They were also dealing with the elements.

Yet our high powered offense with a great RB and supposed great QB and supposed great WRs couldn't get into the end zone. But okay let's forget that game, what about the Saints? 10 points and lost by two. We couldn't score two TDs in a dome.

He also did it against the Bills and Packers.

His only impressive game last year was against the Vikings. His 400 yard games came against the Giants, Packers (we've been over this), and Lions. His 300+ yard games Minnesota (good game), Chicago (garbage time), Bills (somehow with all those passing yards, we got 15 points), and Washington

Beating up on cupcake teams and padding stats in garbage time. Real stud we have at QB.

Vikings, Packers, Rams, Eagles? You call those garbage teams? Interesting because 3 of those made the playoffs and the other was 9-7 and was in the SB last year.

Beating up on bad teams is what good QB's do. Ironically its what you said he couldnt do. Lets chalk that up for another dumb comment you got dead wrong.

Chicago was legitimate garbage time, but who cares? Would you rather he suck in garbage time? LOL Not like on the road in Chicago is an easy place to play against a top defense.

New England in the windy rain? That is forgiven.

Bills are another top defense. As you said he racked up the yards.

2nd philly game no one showed up in what is now the Garrett special.

Considering he is in his 4th year and all under Garrett the kid has been amazing.

Better get used to it he isnt going anywhere.

Passing yards weren't meaningless when Dak was throwing for low yards. It just doesnt suit your agenda now that he is doing it.

nah, packers game they were down big in the 2nd quarter. Unless you are going to claim 2nd and 3rd quarter are garbage time. Cowboys almost came back in that one.

He lost against the Packers, and Eagles were good? Eagles were not a good team last year lol Their secondary was absolute garbage, and he had a terrible second game against them. That was when the Eagles were even more banged up.

Great QB's typically struggle against better teams and better defenses. Brady and the Pats get beat by the Dolphins every year.

That is a complete lie. Up until this year Dak had average stats according to you and wins didnt count.

How did Dak play in the 3 playoff games? He was the best player in all of them for the Cowboys.

Let me give something for everyone to think about...

Dak is not Elite....Yet.

But he is undefeated versus Kurt Cousins teams and Kurt beat Drew Brees in the Playoffs last year. Dak beat an undefeated Drew Brees team in 2018. Dak went on the road and beat Big Ben in Pittsburgh, Aaron Rodgers in Greenbay, and ended the Ravens when streak in Dallas beating another Super Bowl winning QB in Flacco which is something Tony Romo could not pull off. 13-3, 9-7, 10-6, and 8-8 with 2 playoff appearances, and a wild card playoff win in his first 4 seasons.

Tom Brady is Elite. Put up Tom Brady's record versus winning teams...that would be elite standard and Brady had an Elite Head Coach who always had an Elite defense, and an Elite GM.

Since Dak had neither Elite Head Coach, Defense, and GM, he is definitely a winning QB that never had a losing season as a starting QB since Jr. High School.

Does Dak frustrate you with in accuracy at untimely moments. Yes. But, he is not inaccurate at 65.8% completion % with a 97.0 passer rating. He overcomes his accurate moments with his winning leadership.

So you all can argue about Rayne Dakota Prescott all you want. But the Cowboys gods smiled on that Dumbo GM when he gave him a potential franchise QB in the 4th round that would have been a higher pick if not for Driving While Black in Mississippi.

He earned and deserves a long term deal at his terms and based on past performance you will never have a losing season no matter the quality of Head Coach, defense, and GM, and make the playoffs every other year with home field advantage throughout the playoffs every 3 years. Considering what the Cowboys have been since 1995, I will take that and Dak.

I will take that one better: how many super bowls does Joe Montana win if he doesn't have Dwight Clark, Ronnie Lott, Jerry Rice, Roger Craig, John Taylor, Tom Rathman, etc etc. The haters knock Dak claiming he has to have a "team of superstars around him to be successful". It's ok if Brady has Troy Brown, Gronk, Moss, Welker, Edelman, Dillon and Montana has Rice/GOAT but it's not ok for Dak to have Amari and Zeke and a good OL. The hypocrisy is mind boggling.
