Better ball placement will help the receivers do a better job catching. Maybe not throw so many passes behind a receiver. Receivers need to fight for the ball better as well.

I mean yeah probably not, only Drew Brees and Sam Bradford(!) have ever done that. If they return to dink and dak, as I suspect they will, then maybe they can get to 67 or so.

He was only 1.9% short of that last year with receivers that led the NFL in drops. 67% seems very possible no matter what they do with him.

Uh, 2% is a lot. He could have played a 17th game last year and went 30-30 and he still wouldn't have gotten to 67%. He wasn't that close.

That 30 for 30 stat isn't as dramatic as you make it out to be because out of 30 passes he likely would have completed 60-70% percent anyway, so it's not as many extra completions as you apparently think.

Now, let's use numbers that mean something. He completed 388 pass out of 596 passes for 65.1%. If he had completed 400 passes out of 596 - only 12 more passes over 16 games (0.75 completions per game) - that would have got him to 67.1%
