I don't like spending so much capital on WRs. 2 1st round picks *and* 20mil/year for Cooper.
Especially not for WR3.
And especially when I wanted Pollard to be the 5th man of our base defense.

McCarthy must be planning a 3WR base offense. Or at least he is now.

There were several that seemed this way. Then, my Dad and I realized that the videos they were showing as the pick was announced were before they got the call.

You could tell by what was on their TVs in the background, almost 5 minutes behind.

The whole "live feed" thing was a bit of a mess. Some kids got a video of the phone call, I remember seeing Reagors. But, for some reason, a lot of the kid's didn't.

Its was quite messy.

Best WR in the draft. Needed defense but at some point you have to take the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE... by far. Great pick. Sure, it sets you back in other areas, but it give you flexibility for years to come. Great pick. Again, great pick.

I hated the idea too, and hated it more because I wanted to go with a multiback base offense with Pollard as our 5th man. Looks like we're going 3WR as our base now.

Although it would be really wild to go run and shoot, keeping Pollard in and bumping Jarwin from the base instead. Now that would be fun. But I doubt it.
