I’m neutral on Dak so I have nothing to contribute but as soon as we drafted Lamb one question immediately came to mind.

Those of you who criticize Dak, how do you feel about this pick? In other words, a lot of Dak’s critics use excuses as to why his stats are so good and now we just added a huge weapon that could make him look even better and justify alleged his salary demands. If there was any hope of Dak being exposed, it just went out the window. So are you happy our offense will be unstoppable with Dak at the helm or are you upset that drafting Lamb also meant extending Dak (most likely)?

It's a must pick if he's rated 6th on your board. But if you think Dak suddenly gets better because a rookie walks in the door is mistaken. Receivers take a few years to develop and we won't be forcing him the ball. 2-3 years from now we will see better returns for this kid if he works hard.

I'm not expecting a huge year from CD, but I'm expecting decent numbers out of him.
Think his talent level will allow him to be successful early on even if he isn't fully polished for the NFL this year

It's not going to happen next year. WR's generally take 2 years to learn everything and become dominant and that is usually for the ones that are drated to be the teams #1 WR we already have that and we have a solid # 2 so my guess is he gets alot of work in the slot to start his career and will he really be any better in his 1st year at that position than Cobb was last year or Beasley before him. We won't truly see who this guy is and be able to take advantage of him until his 2nd season and even then he needs to do alot to overtake Cooper as the #1 guy. So in answer to your question he won't do much for Dak this upcoming season, good or bad

Any way you slice it the Dak trolls just cringed when we picked CeeDee Lamb. AS long as Dak stays healthy he will probably break every Cowboys passing record now. They better start hoping for Dak to break a leg because there is little hope now that any of their dreams of his failure will come true.

The pick of Lamb all but confirms.............GET, SET, MATCH!!!

LOL...........Looking at you already hoping for a slow development.

THIS kid is going to be good from the start in the slot. All your hopes and dreams of Dak's failure just went down the toilet.

A smart little troll would start softening his stance in anticipation of getting laughed off the site otherwise.

What kind of a year are you expecting? Dont forget, this is not Garrett's offense anymore.

You are sadly mistaken about rookies. Dak is the perfect example of how a rookie can instantly be among the best at his position. Lamb can do this too. Lamb is going to be getting the ball plenty.

You mean you hope? MM is in charge now and you can bet he is already scheming ways to get this kid highly involved from the slot and all over the place. This is not like Garrett where he slow walks offensive players into the offense.

And its not like this kid needs tons of receptions to be effective. Be had onl 64 catches last year and it equated to 1300 yards and 14 TD's.

One on one in the slot against a safety or LB an its toast. End arounds, WR screens, its over.

I have to disagree with people saying lamb will need 2-3 years to develope. He certainly wont be a finished product year 1, but in recent years WRs have shown the ability to contribute early, and lamb has the skillset to.

Expectations should be high right out of the gates for him. Not expecting a 1000 yard season right away, but he should significantly contribute

You should go back and look at MM offenses from the past guys like Adams and Cobb never had big rookie seasons with him and they both had Rodgers throwing them the ball. Don't expect too much from this kid his 1st season under MM, especially since we already have a #1 in Cooper and a solid # 2 in Gallop. If he catches 40 balls i will be impressed

Sure thing buddy, whatever you say. I look forward to your hopes and dreams of a slow season going up in smoke.

I would expect a similar year as Cobb but with more TD's. 750-1000 yards and 6-8 TD's.

Ok since your ego won't let you do it i will do it for you

Adams rookie season under MM...38 catches 446 yards rookie season....2nd season he was hurt for 5 games 2nd season still had 50 catches 3rd season 75 catches
Randall Cobb rookie season under MM...25 catches 375 yards....2nd season 80 catches...994 yards

If you think this kid is gonna blow up the league under MM his rookie season you are drinking the coolad. Kid will be a star in this league just won't happen this season. Especially without any offseason programs this year because of covid.

Oh he's catching 60 balls. We have to replace 120+ catches between Cobb and Witten.
