Per sources.... on the Herd... This is going to come back to bite us. Mark my words. Just watching Lamb last night...and the crowd he was hanging with...felt like I was watching Huggy bear. He needs to get his women in order. Not the path we should have taken. And this is what kills me about Jerry....he just doesn't put in the work to find out about players. That's laziness. This feels like a situation where because we didn't do our due diligence...we may have fallen into a trap.

Why don’t you tell the whole story. Cowherd said we didn’t interview him because we 100% thought he would be gone before we picked at 17, and they didn’t want to waste an interview on someone that we didn’t think would be there. We got lucky ** and there’s no way this pick bites us in the ***. Look at the 15 players taken after we took Lamb, I wouldn’t trade him for 3 of those guys combined... this dude will open up the passing game and more importantly the run game!

That isn't a fair assessment. Teams had a limited number of hours they could spend on Zoom per week by league rules.

It would not make sense to use that time on someone you didn't think had a snowball's chance in hell of dropping to you.

If he has so many red flags then where are they? Did he get in trouble in college? Is he known for his poor work ethic? Injury history? What did other teams say about him?

They didn't interview him because nobody in the country thought he'd make it to 17. Even you're bright enough to understand this. I like how you watch a short video clip and judge a person's crowd and women from it too. And you call Jerry lazy?

We didn't interview Okudah, Brown, Simmons or Young either post combine. Are you suggesting we would not have taken one of those guys if they had slipped because we didn't interview them? LOL.

And we did meet with him, at the combine. So to suggest we just drafted him on a whim without talking to him is BS.
