What game changing plays did he make?
Oh are you the type of simpleton that would have proclaimed Jones great if in his thousand snaps he had 3 more ints but gave up 75 more receptions and left guys open? I think you are.

Horrible pick. We just lost our best CB/ Safety and we go for glamour?

Your thoughts
Well Jerry had no # 1 pick last year, so I knew he would not trade out of 1st or trade his pick for jamal.
This is where jones boys have their FUN !!
They were like kids in a candy store, and the candy they wanted was half price.
This was a flashy offensive skill/ big name pick.
Jones boys love that type of pick.

Now if Lamb isnt a spoiled diva like odell, and he can produce in NFL like he did in college,
then it is a good pick anyway, because as someone else pointed out, it will make it hard to
double cooper or any of them. It could also help the run game.
Been a long time since dallas had 2 good wideouts or 2 big name wr.

They already gave lamb 88 , so I dont see them using him as a slot guy, I think he will be a wideout.

Now me I would have traded up to grab kinlaw for the defense, they said he was a mean player,
so big ,mean , and right in the middle would have helped the defense a lot.

But whats done is done so I just hope lamb is not a diva, and will work hard, be modest lol and
be a good wr.

I find it funny everyone is assuming Lamb will be great like the Cowboys nailed this. I watched Lamb play as an OU fan and he was amazing but I've seen other WRs be great in that offense and not so much in the NFL. I hope Lamb is great but I am not ready to declare this a slam dunk.

Dallas has never had two 1st round WRs at the same time that are both 25 years old or less
This is a first. And it's not even close.
Plus they have a young 3rd rounder who is playing like a 2nd or even late 1st rounder.
Plus they have a 1st round running back
Plus they have a top 5 ranked oline.

Dak is no idea how easy he has it compared to most QBs

Take the money young man, take the money.

This was a vanity pick, it was also the highest-rated player available on their board. They got some offers to trade down but decided to stay put and pick the guy they really didn't need but valued as a top 10 pick. I don't think is a horrible pick, my question is how a rookie #3 receiver is going to help this football team with limited snaps on the field? The LB Chaisson from LSU would have been the obvious choice with question marks on all 3 linebacker positions (Can Jaylon play to his potential, will LVE be healthy, how many snaps can we get out of Lee?).

With the Lamb pick, the offense has the chance to move from good to elite. I think with any defensive player avaiable at that time, the defense would have gone from bad to still bad.

The best defense is a good offense. Keep their offense off the field. Drafting for need makes you needy.

That is a good point, but it depends on IF lamb is as good in NFL as he was in college.

They made the right pick, they have to surround Dak with elite talent or he'll go from average to bad.

Stop. Just stop.

Not a single safety was drafted in Round 1, and there's still a ton of corners left that are on that second tier.

After Okudah and Henderson the second tier of corners were all evenly ranked. There's still quite a few left, even after a run towards the end of the 1st round.

When you have a chance, if true, to select the #6 player on your board without giving up anything then you do it. Period.

Tell the dude, if he just really wants an argument...go ahead and step up to the plate and start one. :)

Agreed. I don't watch nearly as much college ball, so I'm having to go off what people with more info are saying. That's why I said there is a "chance" for the offense to move to elite. Fingers crossed.

I was against taking a WR because the draft is so WR rich, but you were going to take one...So I get your concern. It tells me a few things. They are pretty confident Gregory, Aldon, and Crawford will be able to play opposite lawrence. There was no safety deserving of that pick. I would have traded back for an extra pick but it takes a trade partner.

The Lamb pick turns our wide receiver corps into a trifecta of scary play-makers. What is amazing is that Cooper, Gallup and Lamb each have unique skill sets and running styles. Pick your coverage poison when all three are on the field.
