Too early to tell but I think as of now you'd have to think Gallup, Connor and LVE have the edge.

I think they drafted their #1 WR, #1 CB, and a guy that will spend months in training camp pushing for a starting role over McCoy or Poe - which will make them better & he’ll be learning from them at the same time. Ultimately, I think Poe plays 1st & 2nd down and Gallimore comes in to rush the QB on 3dd down & he’ll win the starting spot next year. I don’t really see how this draft could’ve gone any better.

That was good draft for sure. Canty went on to a nice career. Burnett was solid as well.

I think in recent years it is probably LVE, Gallup, Connor and Jaylon, Zeke and Maliek....I liked the ZEke and Collins pick but I hated the Jaylon pick at the time and I hated the LVE pick. I like all 3 of these so far this year.

Huh? Connor is a borderline bust and LVE has huge injury concerns.

That was a genius draft of how to revamp a defense and rebuild a defense in a offseason. Just genius.

Oh I thought you were talking about on draft day. On draft day that was not the perception of those picks. LVE was saw as a solid starter, Connor was looked at as a solid T and Gallup was looked at as a solid receiver. A lot of people on draft day thought those 3 could be starters. Not sure what you are asking then. These new guys haven't even played yet so I thought you were comparing day of reactions. Far too early to know what this new bunch has.

That was such a fun draft to watch. I was watching that one with a good friend and even he was like "damn man Dallas is killing it today".
That was back in the day before they split up the rounds and you would sit and watch the draft ALL day long.

2016 was pretty good. Zeke, Smith, and Collins ended up being pretty good. Of course in the 4th we got Dak Prescott also. Honestly look at our 1st and 2nd round track record since about 2010 or so and really only one or two bad gets.
