How big of an impact has the coaching change been on the good draft that the Cowboys have had so far?!

Massive! This is a scouts draft with Jerry and Stephen sticking to their board. The coaches have simply asked for the best players you can get. No more pigeonholing specific traits that cause you to reach and make head scratching picks year in and year out leaving much better players on the table. I love it. Serious breathe of fresh air.

Oh absolutely. Jerry has evolved. He wouldn't even let the Big Tuna do this. Had he let Bill "shop for his own groceries" I think we would have won another SB.

If he had completely let Bill "shop for his own groceries" we would have taken Marcus Spears with the 11th pick instead of Demarcus Ware in 2005.

Not saying Jones is without fault (clearly haha) but Bill had that above and Bobby Carpenter a year later. So while Bill moved us in the right direction he himself wasn't without fault...

One thing about Reggie Robinson is he’s not only Daniel Jeremiah’s top corner coming into day 3, but he’s also blocked a FG in each season he’s played. This might’ve been a player that Bones liked a lot on ST.

Let's face it, it's all a crapshoot today anyway. If any one of these four guys pans out and contributes, that's a win.

Right. Last year's later-round corner, Michael Jackson, didn't turn out so well. Hopefully, Robinson will be a better choice, but you never know.

This is also why I consider using one of our next few picks on a punter. Generally, you can get the best of that bunch in the later rounds. I wouldn't mind taking a shot on a QB either.

If we could get him to spend the NFL season on it ... :D
That would be great.

Now I'm thinking stilts... like homes in Aransas Pass and that area!
A mega yacht in the desert on stilts.
That's sure to attract an HGTV episode, at least!

Norm saying maybe Dallas thought some team was going to take Robinson before Dallas could get him later on.
And wonder what the deal is. Moore said supposedly after Pride was selected, they had him ranked 2 spots over Bryce Hall on their board.

Who really knows though ther than Jerry.

With the picks of Diggs and Robinson, I think it's clear that the Cowboys will be playing press man a lot more than they have. That's their specialty. Robinson is also a really good special teams guy - four blocked kicks in his college career. Like the pick. Would have preferred Hall more, but nothing to complain about.

I agree with you on defense. However, I see an opportunity on capitalizing on the QB position but I get your point.
Yeah I just don't know what to feel about these guys. I look at their tape and I just get flashes of Mike White. And I just don't think these type of quarterbacks are going to beat out Cooper Rush. If you could convince me they could then I'm fine with it. And its not my opinion that they can't beat them out. I just think team overvalue Rush for whatever reason.
