Cut him.
Thats usually how 7th rounders get drafted. Especially late in the roundBears, Cowboys, and Panthers were offering him UFA deal so Dallas decided not to risk losing him.
Competition for Dak..........LMAO!!!.......................sorry.
I'll always give Sean Payton credit for Romo being in Dallas. He basically begged both Jerry and The Tuna to sign him. People forget that Sean tried to take Romo to New Orleans with him but Parcells wasnt having it.
But to answer you question....I dont know. All I know is when JG came in as OC Romo as a QB went next level. And what happened with Dak his rookie season was historic IMO.
With that said I am excited to see what McCarthy does with Dak. How can you not be? It would actually be a let down if Dak in anyway regressed.
Barley through free agency and the draft and we are being spoiled with amazing football decisions we never got under the clapper. I can't wait till actual coaching of the team happens
This guy is what I imagine Aaron Rodgers looking like in Middle School.
They are so similar.
Go here for a bunch of stats and info. I have no clue of him as he should have been a UDFA.

The only great thing for the Cowboys from James Madison is Charles Haley.

the change at coach was far overdue. I just hope Jerry gives McCarthy even just half the amount of chances he gave clapper to get us to the promise land.Yes, that will be fascinating to see things we haven't seen since Parcells come season time. I wonder how much we'll be asking "why we couldn't we do this before?"
I remember Mortensen kept saying to keep an eye on Romo. He gave us praise for picking him up in UDFAJust a thought. Anyone remember what was said when Romo was brought in? Any similarities to player, or profile, or pre draft discussions?
What funny about that is that he basically became Romo.
Yup. Throwing motion and mannerisms remind me of Rodgers a lot.Bet he's an Aaron Rodgers fan....he looks more like him.
Ben Dinucci
CBS rank #546
Trust me Jerry, I speak from experience it's always that last drink that gets you
Pulease. Dak doesn't want to leave Dallas. This is the pinnacle for a pro quarterback. Playing quarterback for America's team.I seriously don’t think Prescott’s going to be a cowboy for the rest of his career. Do you want to play for a team with the fans really a split. Cowboys I hope you realize
I don’t think Prescott wants to be a cowboy for the rest of his career. Who wants to play for franchise for the fans are split. Only time is going to tell. I haven’t seen a better replacement yet
I think he has White beat already! If he can't beat out Rush or White, he doesn't deserve PS.
