His mechanics look natural and fluid in the few highlight videos on this thread.

I wonder if we were planning to take Eason in the 4th, only the Colts got there first.

Laugh if you want but the only thing standing in DiNucci's way of commanding one of the most dangerous offensive units in pro football is Dak Prescott.

I like his odds over Rush and only watched a few videos of the dude.

Yes, he's a holdout or bad hit away from starting our opener.

Can't wait to see our new prospect, QB Ben DiNucci, compete with our current backups. It should prove interesting . . . :flagwave:

My brother watches a lot of FCS football. He isnt a Cowboys fan, so doesnt have a homer opinion. Says DiNucci is better than Wentz. Better than top FCS QB in a normal draft.

Added that the ND State freshman who he played against in the FCS championship game is something special - early first round potential.

Sorry don't believe your brother just off where this guy was drafted. He might be right but find it hard to believe today homer or not on his part.

I think your sarcasm detector needs recalibration.

Sorry about that but I've said many times sarcasm is tough to detect in the written form if you don't know or are unfamiliar with that person's style. In the written form you can't tell voice inflection or facial expressions or even hand gestures. All you have is what is written. There have been users here that have used anything to put blame on Romo for games lost just because they didn't like Romo. I had a discussion with a user after that game where he was serious about the defense got Romo the ball with enough time to get the winning scorre except.... My response was how, the Cowboys didn't force a single punt that game so how did the defense give the ball back to the Cowboys. The only way was letting them score more points.

Just for fun:

Tony Romo (undrafted)
21 TDs, 6 int.
2,068 passing yds
138-207 (66.7 comp. %)
10.0 yds per pass

Didn't see Romo's rushing numbers.

That was his best. He put up bigger numbers his senior year, though:

34 TDs, 16 int.
3,165 passing yards
258-407 (63.4 comp. %)
7.8 yds per pass

I'd include Dak's too, but I think it's harder to compare big-school QBs to smaller-school ones.

To be honest, I've seen examples of humor that you misunderstood. There was one earlier today, in fact. If I remembered where it was, I'd cite it for you. That said, there are some people with no sense of humor.
I know I missed it. I wasn’t sure if they were serious or not. There’s just too many people that are serious about being negative. It’s hard for me to tell who’s who would I have known them for a while. I’m learning who has an agenda and who doesn’t

I've lived in Harrisonburg all my life and never been a JMU fan, by any stretch, but I have been following their football team and definitely see the Romo comparison. DiNucci looks like Tony moving in and throwing from the pocket. He has the same sense of pressure, ability to avoid rushers and keep his vision forward to nail guys downfield. But he looks more athletic to me, is a much better runner and I think lacks Romo's velocity on the ball. It's a seventh-rounder and all in all I love the pick.
