Watch Biadasz (#61) lay down three blocks on a single play with a devastating chip on the nose guard (#67) at the snap; a second-level and block on LB Malik Harrison (#39); and then the safety Fuller (#4). His purported lack of mobility is a bit overblown.

Biadasz (#61) is not without his shortcomings. Here he gets out over of his skis allowing Hamilton (#53) an easy path around him. I watched his 2018 cutup against Nebraska and saw two snaps where he did the same thing. Wisconsin is an OL factory, but hopefully some added film study and technique can resolve this habit.

He was thought to be a 1st rounder at start of the year

Had some injuries and some pass blocking issues but has always been a bulldozer in the run game.

Personally I was happy with C depth but could end up being a great pick. Interior oline depth should be good.

My favorite pick of the draft....Kid is a stud. Only reason he fell was because of the medical scare....

May no be Fredbeard but Biadasz, McGovern, and Martin are gonna be a nasty trio. All 3 bulldozers on run plays

I watched plenty of him and thought the same thing.

What I did see was a lack of sufficient core strength.

Then you look at him in a still photo and see he is a bit flabby.

Fortunately, he has assets that cant be taught, and one can certainly add strength, especially with a year in an NFL program.

I don't see why he isnt the starting C by next year, and they may not be so fast to move McGovern off of LG and let Looney man the spot in 2020.

This is a noted weakness in most draft profiles I have read. I hope Frederick is willing to work with him on this. Travis played with more control.

He does lunge at times. So did Frederick as a rookie.

He is going to be an interesting watch in TC. There is + starter tool kit there. And they went and got him, as opposed to waiting. I wonder if its Looney VS. Biadasz and Williams VS. McGovern in TC

In my mind the ideal scenario would be to let Looney and Biadasz battle it out for center in camp (if there is one) and McGovern and Williams would compete for OG.

Presuming Williams loses out to McGovern I think the team should start preparing him to be the swing tackle.

I was against taking a C because a lot of people were saying we needed to take Ruiz early.

But coming back and getting this guy later in the draft is a really solid move. This kid has had two injuries that were fixed in the offseason but never missed a game.

That would be great if Biadasz was good enough to start. Looney can be the swing OG/C. McGovern starts at LG and Williams goes to swing tackle.

LT - Smith
LG - McGovern
C - Biadasz
RG - Martin
RT - Collins

OG/C - Looney
OT - Williams

Then probably Redmond and possibly Hyatt filling in the back end?

To be honest, around the pick we would have had there weren't really anyone there that excited me. Using a 5th next year to get back to where there was still startee caliber talent was the right move

Nate Newton was flabby too.

Said this in another thread...I'm thinking he needs pre season game reps in order to prepare to be the game day swing T.

How do they do that fairly while having him compete at LG?

I don't see how they work him at LG, decide he loses, then expect him to be prepared to play T in a game.

Your thoughts?

Don’t sleep on Brandon Knight. He makes the roster before Redmond and/or Hyatt

They could just make LG McGovern’s to lose. Either way, reps while limited come in practice and more than anything the footwork can be done alone.
