Tony Fingers had potential, I liked giving him a shot with #88, same goes for Dez.

Either number works for me, but I'd rather see CeeDee Lamb in #88.

Ezekiel Elliott didn't pick #21, the Cowboys wanted him in it for marketing reasons due to his high first round status..

I forgot about Jackie Harris. I was thinking Antonio Bryant drafted in 2002 was after Irvin.

I would be shocked if they gave those numbers anyway because they never have since Roger and Troy retired, but there is no way they would give those numbers to a 7th round pick that is a long shot to stick, much less start, in the NFL.

It would certainly be different, and for me, you know what player it is when you see those numbers.

"Oh, that's Coop, Gallup and Lamb" rather than "Oh, that's Coop, Gallup, and.. umm.. Pearson, no.. Irvin, no.. Bryant, no.. Oh, and Lamb."

But yeah, as I mentioned earlier if he's forced to wear No. 88 then it'll be a jersey I'll pass on buying this year. Otherwise I was waiting to pick up that No. 10.

Agree completely. I already have a Pearson 88 since forever ago. Give him 10 and it will be my first purchase in a very long time. A new coach along with this draft and I'm ready to come out and add to the closet.

. It's been close to 10 years since I purchased anything. Most of the new stuff I get are gifts.
