More Cee Dee worship?

I believe this is getting as bad as the "Dez is returning" threads.

I really hope he works out.

What bothers me is our $40 mil+yr QB making it work.

Other than Amari, Dak had problems with the entire WR By Committee approach after Dez was gone.

Dak had Witten but he was a sloth with hands and there was not much to learn.

So stats be gone. That's in the past.

What has he done lately? How is he going to help avenge Philly and Buffalo and the Jets?

The one exception being the QB taken with our last pick. But I get we did it so we wouldn’t have to compete for him as an UDFA. And it was a 7th rounder so who cares.

I bet that was a Coach pick. Hopefully McCarthy. I'll with his judgment.

Besides, it's Romo 2.0! SB, baby!

I am really hoping at least four of these guys greatly outperform their rookie deal.

I can't be the only that is annoyed by Will Cain. Too me he is Max Kellerman light. And I can't stand Kellerman.

Ugh.

I'm listening to this now and about midway through Will Cain asks Bobby Belt if the Dallas Cowboys have basically already written off 2019 second round selection Trysten Hill as a bust.

Belt: "I had someone in the building (The Star) at the start of the off-season tell me he's like Taco Charlton. The entire building soured greatly on Taco and they're seeing the same maturity problems with Hill. He pouts and gets really low when things aren't going his way. Not in a pitching a fit kind of way, but his emotions match how good/bad things are going. Former UCF coach Scott Frost's staff endorsed drafting Hill when the new UCF staff would not. Inside the Star, they are questioning if Hill loves football, if he wants to work hard, his toughness, things like that. His maturity. They are pretty close, especially with this new coaching staff, to just writing Hill off.

Yeah you can kinda tell by how the guest was talking, Trystan is about done unless he grabs his marbles and starts working.

That is false. The D-Coordinator with the 2nd UCF coaching staff was interviewed after the 2019 draft and he gave glowing review of Hill.

These have all said that Hill has a high motor:
1st UCF staff
2nd UCF staff's D-Coordinator
Marinelli (during the 2019 season)

Nobody ever said that about Taco...

Interesting.

Without looking anything up, all I can remember coaching staff comment wise about Trysten Hill's final season at UCF was that he came around about his role on the team after initially wanting to transfer.

With as much as Marinelli loved Hill and they had some kind of special bond, I do wonder if the Raiders would give us a 4th rounder for him. He’s just a sophomore who was a 2nd round pick. Rod talked us into a ton of bad decisions, would be nice to see him talk another team into one for our favor.

It's a thought.

Rod Marinelli has already soured on P.J. Hall and the Raiders are looking to move him.

Hall, who's from Texas, was a SPARQ monster and #57 overall in 2018.

Maybe we swap Tyrsten Hill for Hall.

Oooh. I don’t know if I want Hall or not, but this does mean he may be looking for another DT. Good catch.
