He wasn't. 44.5 avg 39.6 was pretty decent, much better than 2019. I'm sure Fassel sees a guy that he can use on fake punts with his speed.

ST stunk across the board last year. Our kicker was the worst problem. We seem to have gotten one, then signed another one that I am not familiar with. But Jones maybe ok. I don’t think the ST practices much last year. Maybe or hopefully it changes this year. Jones better be punting every day.,

We should still bring in like 3 other punters and the best man wins. I mean all punters and kickers do in practice is stretch and kick lol. Let them have a kick off. Test hang time, ball handling, distance and etc. Get some analytics on them lol

He had 17 punts landed inside the 20. That ranked him 28th out of 30 punters who had more than 25 punts on the season.
His percentage of punts to land inside the 20 was 24th out of 30 punters who had more than 25 punts on the season.
In any stat that directly correlates to punters, he was in the bottom tier of the league. He was horrid.

Didn't McCarthy release all the training and strength and conditioning staff. The overall misdiagnoses over the years is so unbelievable.

The question is will they be competition or camp fodder
I’d bring competition
He was injured last year so maybe they think he rebounds
To me I always look for upgrades or cheaper option with same production

At least Woicik is gone. Assistants can be a firm believer of what their boss did or just did what the boss told him. So I guess we will see.
