At 17 and only Ruggs was available would we still have taking WR instead of Chaisson???

If Ruggs and Lamb were both available at 17 who would you have chosen and why??

IMO, we may have taken Ruggs. Sure the FO now says Lamb is 6th on their big board. But Ruggs has speed that can't be taught. This offense is missing that take the top of speed as a 3rd WR.

I doubt they would have taken Ruggs their. I don't think they went into the draft with any intention of taking a WR first. Most of the WR's they had contact with were 2nd round prospects. Lamb being their changed the game. I think they would have taken Chaisson 17 and Mims 51 if Lamb didnt fall

I agree that they had no intention of taking WR in the 1st.
I thought the three top WRs were all pretty closely rated. Jeudy best route runner, Ruggs the speed demon and Lamb best pass catcher.

Would have been difficult for me to pass on any of the three top WRs for team 40 burger!

i still think they take one of those big 3 WRs.
can't imagine if it had been Jeudy that they let him slide...he would've been bpa....same if it were Ruggs.

as for the 2nd part....CeeDee over Ruggs....he is the complete package.
not as fast as Ruggs but over-all a better WR in my opinion.

100% All those guys will likely make pro bowls especially Jeudy and Lamb. Chaisson is a total reach, his production is nothing. I would rather take a sure thing over high up side and very low floor.

If it were Ruggs and Chaisson, I would take Ruggs without hesitation. But the Cowboys would have taken Chaisson. I am not as high on Chaisson as some people are. Ruggs has speed, and he can play football. He is a perfect fit in Dallas and they do need more speed on offense. Ruggs has crazy speed. He ran a 4.47 at the combine but he thought, and many other did too, he would run closer to 4.20. I would love to have that kindo f speed on the Cowboys offense.

If it were Ruggs and Lamb, I would take Lamb but it would take me the entire 10 minutes on the clock to make up my mind. Lamb is the better receiver and will run up better numbers in the long run. He can be a 1 receiver, but I have doubts Ruggs could be that guy. Lamb offers the Cowboys some flexibility for the future. Now, they can move on from Cooper is he does not play up to his contract the next 2 years.

Ruggs was my WR1. He simply does stuff that we haven't seen WRs do in the last 3 or 4 draft classes. John Ross had Ruggs' speed, but he didn't have his mind-melting explosion to go with it.

I had all three of Ruggs, Lamb and Chaisson as top 20 players. But if Ruggs and Chaisson are both on the board, I'm taking Ruggs. If Ruggs and Lamb are both on the board, I'm also taking Ruggs.

Regardless of who we might've taken, the Cowboys would've taken
Chaisson
For sure

That's a real interesting question.

I was rooting for Kinlaw, with Ruggs second because I figured Lamb would be way gone.

Wow yeah...that's a great question...one we will never know the answer to.

Yep usually a guy with that kind of burst isnt also a polished receiver.

You’re mixing up Raegor and Ruggs times. Ruggs ran in the 4.2’s.

This year more than any I’d love for the draft board to be leaked but I doubt the is a white bird to take a picture of.
