What did the Cowboys give to the Eagles in order to trade up to pick up C Tyler Biadasz?
Next year's 5th. I think it will be a comp pick.

I'm surprised the Eagles traded with us tbh. I'll take it though. Biadasz is a good player who got hurt so his draft stock plummeted. I read he would have been 1st round last year.

Heres the thing about Biadasz. If he came out last year he was going to be a 1st round pick. Would have fell somewhere between the middle to end of the first round. THAT is the consensus. But he didnt, instead he stayed for one more year and played thru a couple of injuries. He wasnt as good as he was in prior years due to the injuries,.....but he was STILL very good. Mark it down,.....he will win the starting job this season. He is that good. Kid is as tough as they come. Few would have played thru that stretch, would have just been out for a few games to heal,....but this kid gutted it out instead. Glad he did too, it got us the best center in the draft in the 4th round! LOL

I also think he'll be the starter.

Going into the 2019 college season here was Ourlads rankings of the centers:

Creed Humphrey, Oklahoma
Tyler Biadasz, Wisconsin
Cesar Ruiz, Michigan
Jake Hanson, Oregon
Boss Tagaloa, UCLA

Frederick and Biadasz are much closer in ability and capability coming out of college than what several think.

After the 2018 season he consulted with the NFL Draft Advisory Committee and received a “Return to School” grade.

All I know is when it was looking like he was going to come out several of the draft pubs had him as a late day one pick. Now,....Im sure that it is also true he may have well gotten a return to school advisory as he would have just gotten thru with his sophomore season then. Regardless,.....Im betting he starts for us this year. Im thinking first game,....if not by game three or four at latest. Time will tell,....let the competition begin!

As much as I like Looney this is true. He was a free agent with an opportunity to sign elsewhere and could find anything. Still think he's very good value though.

Looney is an especially good value for us because of a new rule in the CBA that gives a cap discount on the salary of a long term veteran subject to some conditions.

His cash for his 1 year contract is 2.4mil, while his cap hit is 1.2mil.

I think we've done a few of these - taking guys whose performance fell off in the most recent year, usually with some legitimate reason why we should not expect the most recent year to be representative of their play going forward, such as playing with an injury.

Don't worry about the shoulder. Larry Allen lasted to the 2nd round because of a shoulder injury.

Solid selection how his hips and shoulder hold up will be the only issue.

Assuming this guy becomes the starting center at some point, can he deep snap? LP is a rock and one of the most consistent players on the team. I remember the dark days before him. I know he was just signed, but he can't play forever. Can your starting center also be a consistent deep snapper?

We just picked up a LS for depth. Looks to have some solid potential also.
