I assume you are talking about the controversial play against Green Bay, and if so, to be fair, we really can't say that robbed Dez of a championship. Aside from the debate over whether the refs got it right or not, even if they had allowed the catch we don't know how things would have played out. We really don't even know they would have won that game, much less the championship.

I was mostly saying that in jest, as a response to a post basically saying that Dez did not bring us a championship. I could have said, well Tony did not bring us one either. But it was in reference to jersey 88.

That's the thing though. No one can explain it to me because no one has a handle on those rules at the time. So when people try, they're none too pleased with the responses because they can't overcome the rules they can't explain in the first place. Thus, they go to the ol' reliable "we wuzz robbed but I can't say how according to the rules" line.

That was not the point of my comment. See above.

Curious if anyone would care if 8, 12, 22 or 74 gets reissued.

And this isn't a legend of Dez post but more so about, "its a freaking number".
Might as well add 82 to that list. Don't see anyone wearing that number for a while. Maybe if we draft a TE in the first round one day

I fully expect to see Amari Cooper to be a surprise trade in the next few years.

I doubt he see’s the end of that contract.
Probably when Gallup will hit free agency which is in 2 years. Isn’t cooper contract structured to get out in 2 years.. here’s the thing if cooper with ceedee in the lineup puts up even bigger numbers , do you really move on from him? He will only be 27 and the cap supposed to jump 30-40 million just next year...

It all just depends but I think if the opportunity presents itself in a couple years then the Cowboys will take it.

At the end of the day, its a pretty small matter - It's literally just a number on a jersey.

Dez was a #3 when we drafted him. He was behind Austin and Williams as a rookie. He only started two games as a rookie
On paper only. It was apparent very early that he was our most talented receiver and the future of that position, he even outperformed that bum Williams.

It was apparent the minute we drafted him lol. Up until he got hurt, he was still 3rd and on the depth chart and got fewer snaps than Williams. That was still Wades Cowboy's, and Wade was allergic to young players

Cee Dee retweeted this

And this

Even after Jerry said he would wear 88, he didn't take the Tweets down. Dude wants to wear 10. Let him.
